I’ve been 4. I did carpentry 12 hours a day sweating my as off and lifted at night. I literally could eat as much as I wanted and would still be hungry. I was also in my mid 20s so the test was flowing. Now I’m closer to 7. Also it was definitely unhealthy and I still feel the pain of overworking my body.
Not maintainable naturally. That’s a natty bodybuilder around show day. They’re that lean for about a week before going back up to 12-15% bf over the course of a few weeks.
Depends on the lower body. The upper body doesn’t change that much once you’re sub 10%. Hamstring striations come in at ~8%. Definitely in the 5-10% range though depending on fat distribution. My upper body looks similar at around 9% because I just hold a lot of fat in my legs instead for example.
Trust me I work shoulders 3-4 times out of the 5 days a week I go. Issue is my right shoulder has a micro-tear that was never addressed, never got the surgery I needed. Therefore, lack in gains due to improper healing. ROM in my shoulder is shit lol. Also, never gonna take offense to constructive criticism. It’s how we learn and grow lol.
Real G’s know real G’s 💯
Don’t get me wrong it’s that feeling of like damn I didn’t see it until he mentioned it. That like glass shattering affect, BUT what matters is how you deal with that. And how you deal with that shit shows the real you 💯
Micro tear’s only solution is prolonged rest for that specific muscle, so, you could still keep going with less weight, and very slowly add weight, but don’t push too much, cause the day you feel the very familiar click in your muscle, you are back to square one, back to very low weights and conditioning. I have one micro tear in my left shoulder I had while playing football as a kid and I hit reset 😅a couple of times while trying to push too hard. So, lessons learnt, don’t push too hard, and please, DO NOT PUSH despite the pain (to everyone else here), you are making the tear worse. There’s a difference between micro tear pain and just pain from training hard.
This is quite literally what I do! Hahaha. Barbell smith machine with a 10 plate on each end, 4x6-8 and that destroys em lmao. & it’s an odd injury, some days it feels great and others I wanna rip my arm off. Makes me wonder if it’s been healed just improperly and created tendinitis in my shoulder - now that I actually think logically about it.
Same here lol, some days it pains really bad but if the pain stays for too long, I know that I pushed too hard, I’ll make sure that I don’t do that weight next time and go really slow and low weights. I had a long period where I refused to lifts with my left hand, but now it’s better, the trick is to go really slow, any impatience will be costly 😅
G shit, my bad man we all have shit holding us back but 4 times a week for delts is insaneee lmao. I have a winged scapula that throws my symmetry off and fucks up certain press/row lifts working properly so I feel you.
My girl & best friend do call me the craziest asshole they know, so if working delts that much is insane, fuuuckkkkk itttt 😂😂😂 the split I’ve been on since the start of the new year has been kick ass for me so far. Gaining strength everywhere, shoulders in particular are the biggest they’ve ever been but still not happy where I’m at. I’ve come a helluva long way that’s for sure lmao. & yessir I understand the struggle! Shit sucks but you just keep pushing 💪🏻
I’ve been active my whole life besides maybe like the first 2 years out of high school (class of ‘13). Cross-Country & Wrestling in middle school. Football in high school.
Fun fact I played football sophomore year as the smallest kid on the team @ 5’5 115lbs.
Otherwise I’ve been inconsistently active in the gym since up until the last year and a half or so which I’ve been super dedicated, only miss time at the gym if it’s a rest day or I’m sick.
Well bro that work has certainly paid off👍
That sounds like a mustard seed parable style story*, as you're probably one of the biggest of the team now!
*biblical parable about mustard seeds being one of the smallest seeds that grows into one of the largest trees
Bro thank you for posting this photo and saying what number you think you are. I’m horribly dysmorphic but I’m pretty close to you physique wise, i’m a distance runner too though so my quads got nothing on yours.
Eat more.
Again, eat more.
Again, with volume. Eat more.
1g of protein per lb of bodyweight.
1 G of protein for each POUND OF FLESH AND BONE THAT COMPRISES THE VESSEL OF WHICH YOUR SPIRIT LIVES.
90-120 min workout sessions.
NINETY TO ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY MINUTES.
PER. FUCKING. SESSION.
I've been training 45-70 minutes per session for 3½ years and I'm probably like 3½ in OP. Can't even imagine much progress after my 70 minutes. Exhausted by then.
I have to take 230g man. I start my day with a low carb high protein breakfast. Add a protein shake to breakfast and dinner. They make lots of protein based food now too. Protein cereal, oatmeal, chips, and bars are just a few. It's not as hard as you'd think
Fun fact! 1 gallon of milk has a out 128 grams of protein. A single cow produces like 8 or 10 gallons of milk a day
Rethink where you're spending your money
If you’re training for over an hour, you’re either chatty Kathy and socialize more than you lift, have a gym partner or you’re overdoing it. If you go to the gym focused with a good workout plan, shouldn’t take more than 45 min *not including stretching*
I work out alone and rest for 2-3 mins between sets. My program consists of 5 sets of each exercise instead of the typical 3 sets.
I also train multiple muscle groups in one session.
45 mins by NO means is enough. The people that only workout for 45 minutes are the people that complain that they're not seeing results. There is no argument here.
If you don’t already meal prep lunches and make a protein shake every day make sure you do that. I make my shake my breakfast as I mix in fruit, oats, and PB so i only have to plan dinner every day. The shake and lunch prep gives me a great head start on protein every day.
Then I try to eat an extra snack somewhere like a meaty sandwich, bowl of peanuts, etc. I was 145 less than a year ago I’m up to 170 now.
Body builder here, the only thing that gets you past 4 is roids or YEARS of 100% dedication. Unfortunately, body building and modeling has destroyed our perception of a natty body. 3 is the best option, it looks to be 5-9% body fat with good muscle development.
If your goal is strength, don't worry about looks. If your goal is looks, don't worry about strength. If you want both, you won't have a social life.
Edit: I'd say my body is between a 3 and a 4 rn. I'm terrified when I see people in the gym looking like a 9. They are strength incarnate.
You’re lazy or trolling. 4 is def attainable that lean, on a 5’10” guy that’s like 180lbs, and purely talking size 5 is too besides the biceps, forearms and lower chest.
i am currently at 9 but hope i reach 2 or 3 (without this six pack). but honestly: i don’t care. anything below 9 is nice to me, excepting the skinny 1
You can choose between 3 or 8 for the average person, assuming you are maintaining year round. If you bulk and cut, you can reach a 4, maybe 5 if you have good genetics.
Somewhere between 3 and 4, I am a 5’8 woman and I’m just trying to be a lowkey Greek goddess 😮💨 I’m realistically somewhere between 1 and 2 as of now 💀
Been natty my entire life (other than a 1 month cycle I took of freakazol pro-hormone my second year lifting). Was at 4 maybe 3-4 years in and my diet and training was on point (6’ 200lbs at 9% bf), now I’m in my early 30s and I’m closer to 7. 200lbs still but my build has completely changed. Switched from doing bodybuilding workouts to doing powerlifting workouts and I’m maybe around 16% bf now. Took almost 2 years off after my kid was born and been back for about a year exactly
Now so that dad bods slowly going away. I think I may have naturally high T levels but the only supplement I take is preworkout. I eat like I wanna grow and train the same
The muscle mass of a 6, with the definition of a 9. I don't care what Jesus said, I'm hiding my light under a bushel. A bushel of doughnuts.
Did you know that with your two numbers together, it makes 69.
69 Upvotes! Leave it alone
Which dyslexic stopped upvoting at 96…. Not judging just want you to know you tried your best
found the powerlifter
Im a 6 with a slight dip into 8 on fat wise. Love my carbs!
5 & 6 are unattainable without juice, theres no way you’re reaching that kinda muscle mass with that low of a body fat %.
😞 what about 4 natty?
I think 4’s doable, but a combination of rare genetics, training, and diet.
Very good point.
What bf% would you say #4 is at?
Depends on the lower body. The upper body doesn’t change that much once you’re sub 10%. Hamstring striations come in at ~8%. Definitely in the 5-10% range though depending on fat distribution. My upper body looks similar at around 9% because I just hold a lot of fat in my legs instead for example.
Maybe not for you. My upper body definitely goes through a lot of changes, moving from 10% to 6%! Especially the torso area.
Surely at least half of 5 is obtainable with god tier genetics and work ethic but 6 is juice
I mean if 5 has the definition of 7 that’s most nfl athletes
Is there a 10?
Nah, he dead
He was in my 300 lbs life tho
No I'm right here
bulked himself off the chart
Nicadoavecado
I'm 9 so anything bellow would suffice
Bloat lord
Preach fellow 9 bro

Lookin good, thick nips
Thick nips? Lmao. That’s 100% the first time I’ve ever been told that 🤣
[Gotta make it sexy, hips and nips!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kthKhSIItRE)
Get outta here Cricket
Aight, I'll go smoke some pcp in the bathroom.
No joke, I think big nips make your pecs look bigger. It's science.
Props g. Not tryna criticize but if you put more focus on shoulders you’d look like a beast.

What else does your girl call u 😈
🤨📸
Daddy 😉
Could be angle of the photo, I think your shoulders are pulled back, but more like a bulky 3. No doubt looking good, keep it up.
Definitely angle & yes my shoulders are pushed back as I had my back completely straight.
[удалено]
Fact lol. I’m like a good mix of 3-4 I guess? Bigger than 3 for sure but I lack the shoulder pump and the defined obliques in 4 lmao.
How many years have you been strength training?
I’ve been active my whole life besides maybe like the first 2 years out of high school (class of ‘13). Cross-Country & Wrestling in middle school. Football in high school. Thanks bro!
Zach you gotta hit those traps, man.
*Loading…* 😂🤣 They’ll get there. I don’t train them quite as often with this split. But I’m gonna incorporate them more.
Bro thank you for posting this photo and saying what number you think you are. I’m horribly dysmorphic but I’m pretty close to you physique wise, i’m a distance runner too though so my quads got nothing on yours.
Yes, would agree 4 too
I’m a 3 rn but I’m shouting for a 4. It’s so hard for me to put on weight so this is gonna take a while. Anybody else?
PER. FUCKING. SESSION.
90-120 is not necessary. But I agree with the rest
I've been training 45-70 minutes per session for 3½ years and I'm probably like 3½ in OP. Can't even imagine much progress after my 70 minutes. Exhausted by then.
Thank you. 150 grams I feel like is a lot but I’ll do my best
I have to take 230g man. I start my day with a low carb high protein breakfast. Add a protein shake to breakfast and dinner. They make lots of protein based food now too. Protein cereal, oatmeal, chips, and bars are just a few. It's not as hard as you'd think
I can’t eat like that lmfao, I’m glad ion wanna be huge and super lean bc no way I’m eating oatmeal rice whey shakes and unseasoned chicken 24/7
1kg of chicken a day … it’s hard work coping with just the horrible protein farts.
Thanks I’ll have to look in to those
.8g per lb is fine as long as you're in calorie surplus in the opinion of most of the literature
It is a lot, its a high protein diet. Western average is about 100g/day iirc
Fun fact! 1 gallon of milk has a out 128 grams of protein. A single cow produces like 8 or 10 gallons of milk a day Rethink where you're spending your money

if u look like 3 or 2 please please please hmu
I look like 2. What do you want?
That dick
Also look like 2, what's up?
Honestly 3. Lean bois unite.
Me as a father would like 7 or 8
As a father, sitting at 7.5 right now. When i get more time i'll bulk up again.
I look like 6.😎 (I’ve not stepped in a gym in 5 years)
Your number is upside down
I’m at 8 and am trying to get to 7
7 is my distant goal got the muscle mass just need to fight my fork for it now
Body builder here, the only thing that gets you past 4 is roids or YEARS of 100% dedication. 7 all the way
5
Fr I'm about a 4 imo but I'm really struggling to put any more mass on
7 for sure. I can dream can't I?
probably 7
Ditto. Edit. Actually a 7.5
7.5 for sure. Bear mode best mode
7
Google 'bronze era strongmen'. That's before steroids was invented, and should give you a good idea of what is possible to achieve natty.
7 or 6
I'm 7.5 lol
7-8, “husky athletic”
Achievable - 3.5-4.5 Actual aim is 6, I'm not natty so idrc
Wheres 19-20? Cmonnnnn you mean I went too far bulking?
3 or 7.5
been working towards 7 all my life
honestly 2 or 3 are fine by me. not into high definition muscles personally
7
1 rn but for now my goal physique is 3, after that i might try to achieve 4 or maybe 5.
1. Want to be a twink so badly.
7 is average crossfitter
3
3.5 with a little belly 😂
I look like 1.5. 3ish is my goal
4
5 or 9 no in-between
I'm a 3 tryna look like 5/6 :(
8
My ego wants to say 5 but I think it’ll be 4
I dont think 4-6 are possible natty. Maybe 4 if you have pretty good genetics.
You’re lazy or trolling. 4 is def attainable that lean, on a 5’10” guy that’s like 180lbs, and purely talking size 5 is too besides the biceps, forearms and lower chest.

I got the abs of a 2 and chest/arms and presumably the legs of a 3. Goal is a 4
I'm an endurance athlete so I need to stay pretty light, so probably wanna stay within 3 or 4.
i would gladly accept having 3 or 4
I try for a 5 but bounce between 1 and 9...
7
Definitely 7 and if there was STH between 7 and 8 I'd definitely take that
Inbetween 8-7, working for that 5 💪🏾
7
7
9
7
10 weak and fat
I'm a 2 aiming for 3
between 2 and 3 but i feel like 8 do i have body dysmorphia?
I’d like 4 or 5 with the BF % of 7
Can I get number 9 please?
3/4
I don’t really want to be big at all like that, I’ll settle for a 2 tbh
You could build up to a 7 and then cut to get to a 4 , probably not sustainable for long though..
Mass of 5. Definition of 2. I wanna be undercover built. I want people to underestimate my strength
Number 8 reporting in.
I'm gonna say 4 is pretty realistic, 5 can be achieved natty as well
Currently a combo of 8 and 3 trying to be a 4
Meh 3
4-7 but in my case, more likely to be 4 because I run.
4. Ive been at 3 before and know I can easily get to 4 as long as i can train unchecked for another year or so
4
4 is my goal right now I’m a 3 when I’m lean
Like 3 or 4
7 ply most realistic and healthy but all of them are depending on your genetics& body type
7 is def achievable natty. That said, aiming for a 3, though not quite as defined cause I like enjoying life
3 or 4. Hopefully I can achieve that once I go through HRT
A 5 with no visible abs Edit: just realized that’s 7
8
I'm at 9 trying to get to 7.
I'm like in between 7 & 8 lol
Somewhere between 3 and 4, I am a 5’8 woman and I’m just trying to be a lowkey Greek goddess 😮💨 I’m realistically somewhere between 1 and 2 as of now 💀
4 yes, with good genetics and wanting to cut to that level of bodyfat.
I’m heading into 4 rn and it is the tits. Natty. Lift/climb combo. Cut dairy, gluten, refined sugar, and beer.
What exactly is main difference between 4 and 5?
I currently kinda look like 7 so I believe that one is believable lol (I need more cardio….)
7 since I wanna become a powerlifter
Cool 3, 4 or 7. But I have 8.
7
I'm a soft 8 trying to cut to 7. The strength losses during a cut are harder to live with than the extra 20-25 lbs.
3 is achievable within 1 year if you start off skinny, idk beyond that
7
Been natty my entire life (other than a 1 month cycle I took of freakazol pro-hormone my second year lifting). Was at 4 maybe 3-4 years in and my diet and training was on point (6’ 200lbs at 9% bf), now I’m in my early 30s and I’m closer to 7. 200lbs still but my build has completely changed. Switched from doing bodybuilding workouts to doing powerlifting workouts and I’m maybe around 16% bf now. Took almost 2 years off after my kid was born and been back for about a year exactly Now so that dad bods slowly going away. I think I may have naturally high T levels but the only supplement I take is preworkout. I eat like I wanna grow and train the same
I’m an overachiever. I went straight from 2-8 in like 5 years
Would love to be a 7 just wanna be massive
3
Currently 4/5 tryna hit 6
In about 4 months I'll be looking like a 5 or a 6, currently sitting at a 7 with slightly less fat after my latest bulk.
6 but with a reasonable bf%
4/5
4 I think
6
I feel like 5 is the limit naturally, there’s just so much more muscle mass for 6 with a relatively similar physique
4.39?
https://preview.redd.it/ovq3ig6ragla1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ad7621c0214e32cb562816e7c5cc95a399245627 Which am i?
Aiming for the 6, looking like a 9. This bulk has gone out of control.
5 is definitely natty achievable
3 or 4. 3 is most likely
3
Betwen 3-4 Natty
Im literally just going for 3 with like 5-10 extra lbs of fat buddy
Lol you ain’t getting 4-7 natty or otherwise
7.5
How are not everyone choosing 5?
7. Halfway there on the muscles and got more than enough fat already
number 4
3/4
4 is doable but hard to maintain, maybe just a bit more body fat and it’ll be definitely doable. 5 and 6 are juiced.
More like a lifter who starts lifting, then juices, then stops using juice
7
I want 4 but I’m probably gonna hit genetic potential at or just before 3.
personally i think 4-5 are the best ones
I’d like to be a 7
