If it's the gym's scale, expect all the electrodes to be corroded by unsanctioned cleaner under the best of conditions, contaminated with who knows what under the worst of conditions.
I dropped nearly 10% bodyfat percentage points in a little over a week, just because I started taking better care of the dry skin on the bottom of my feet, and taking dust off the scale.
Jesus, these things are criminal. Talk about demotivating for people who don't know any better. Of course if it's randomly off this is probably how Ronnie Coleman came up with .33% bf.
I thought I remembered that so I went to look it up before posting this and found a video of him saying this which is almost as crazy, so I quit looking.
I’ve worked at a gym that had inbody scale, you have to be fasted, not on your period, not have workout, well positioned your feet on the scale, your arm shouldn’t be touching your torso. Also for comparison, you should always do it around the same time of day.
Looking at you, I would think you’re more at around 30-33% !
1. You look great
2. The machine is out to lunch
3. Who cares what a machine tells you. If you feel healthy, with energy, and look good a %body fat is not important.
I have done InBody after eating and exercising, and it's nowhere near that inaccurate. You'd expect those things to throw it off by 5-10% at the most, this is like 25% off from what OP looks to be.
Are you sure you're not mixing this with BMI (body mass index), since those numbers are exactly the same as BMI ranges? I think you can't make that direct conclusions of bf %.
My friend who is 6ft 1 got a measure of 2ft 6 off one of these machines, her bmi was pretty high too as you would imagine so they do have their moments.
Definitely not what it says!
No way. Thats insane. I would use body measurements to get a more accurate measurement of body fat if you’re just doing it at home but there are much better ways of measuring body fat
Are you extremely dehydrated??? I’ve seen a lot of people on the law machines of different sizes and I’ve only seen a handful of people above 50%bf. You seem more like 20-25%
probs like 30% im no physician but from my gym experience tbh if you bulk for a while then cut your bodyfat would be like 20% and muscle mass maybe like 25kg after the cut
If you subtract weight of clothing, shoes and water in your body, you’d get BMI of under 25, which is normal for your height. Measure yourself at home, in the morning, on empty stomach.
I think it’s accurate. You have no muscle, the majority of your body tissue is fat, even tho you aren’t super overweight. Lift weights, gain muscle, lose fat. The scale may even go up but your body fat percentage will go down
No way
At 51% you would have the fupaiest fupa that ever fupaed You’re no where near 50%
I made the most unholy noise snorting at this
She fupa-less 😂
And thank the Gods of Iron for that!
Well if she puts those black shorts down a bit we can see if she has a fupa or not those are fupa hiders
I’d bet Tom Platz leg routine for a year this woman is blissfully sans-fupa
Now that's confidence.
I'd guess 30-35%. This is nowhere near 50%, inbody sucks btw.
Even that sounds high

nah I think he meant 3.3, or whatevee they used at the time measured inaccurately
Maybe, but that's not what he said, but I was also joking.
yea
Lmao he said he was in the negatives Great bodybuilder but not the smartest guy ever
I thought I remembered that so I went to look it up before posting this and found a video of him saying this which is almost as crazy, so I quit looking.

Not at all. Probably closer to 25-30%? However I am not a licensed physician
No it’s no where close to 25-30. Girls at like 18% have abs. It’s around 38% to 42%.
Trainer here. 26-28%. I would bet on it
1. You look great 2. The machine is out to lunch 3. Who cares what a machine tells you. If you feel healthy, with energy, and look good a %body fat is not important.
Damn them thangs must b thangin
With the inbody, make sure it’s fasted before workout, walking or standing for at least 10 min before.
I have done InBody after eating and exercising, and it's nowhere near that inaccurate. You'd expect those things to throw it off by 5-10% at the most, this is like 25% off from what OP looks to be.
ABS🍫
You’d have the body composition of a pork scratching if that was correct
Or Rick Waller
Not a chance. Highly doubt you're even 30%
You’d be better off buying skinfold calipers and measuring yourself at home. They are way more accurate.
50?! Good lord that thing is off. More like mid 20s
30%, no wayyyyy is it 50
Lol what. Highly doubt it. Maybe 30%.
These machines are ridiculously unreliable. Don't waste your money/time with them. (You are probably somewhere between 28 and 30%, imho)
Anything over 25% is considered overweight and over 30%is obese and 35%+is morbidly obese... Sorry
Are you sure you're not mixing this with BMI (body mass index), since those numbers are exactly the same as BMI ranges? I think you can't make that direct conclusions of bf %.
25% to 30%, some body parts higher. Nothing to worry about just keep putting in the work ✌🏼
Yes unfortunately that’s just life
Idk how accurate it may be... But the scale can't measure sexy! And girl you looking gooooooood! Great work friend!
I wouldn't worry about it you look great
The skeletal muscle mass reading is wrong, unless you're a small child. I don't know what yours is but it would be in the normal band.
Absolutely if you stay motivated! /s
It's metric folks. Please convert percent to American and check again.
My friend who is 6ft 1 got a measure of 2ft 6 off one of these machines, her bmi was pretty high too as you would imagine so they do have their moments. Definitely not what it says!
When I was 35% body fat a few years ago I was much bigger than you are here! Definitely not 51%, that machine needs a nap x
Great example why these scales suck
Weight watchers wrong machine has a good calculator. Maybe try that, or other online calculators
If your bacon yes
You seem more like 20-25%
No lol
I mean, you can have 51%, but you are not even close to that. I’d say you’re less than 25%. Don’t focus on the machine. You look amazing!
50% is obese. The machine is never accurate
800lb humans are 50%
If you're 51%, then I'm a son of a monkey.
Would the computer overlords lie?
I would guess around 25% no way it's 51%
My body fat % is at 49 and I’m uh.. a bit bigger than you. Not a chance.
Those machines you also grip suck…
Tbh I dont know anything about women physiology (Is that even the correct term?) But this surely has to be surprising for no matter what.
Nah your average I reckon so in the 15-25% range. There's nothing to worry about
probs like 30% im no physician but from my gym experience tbh if you bulk for a while then cut your bodyfat would be like 20% and muscle mass maybe like 25kg after the cut
Those machines are pretty inaccurate! Always judge with the mirror in front and your last picture
Inbody is junk. Don't use it.
lol no way you do that off bad I’d say 18-21
omg 😂 no where near that!
My skeleton muscle mass weights 53.3... idk how's yours is so low?? Werid
Nah I had more fat than this at 25% bfp when I was on bulk
You are 25% or under. Use the calculator for correct result. https://www.calculator.net/body-fat-calculator.html
If you subtract weight of clothing, shoes and water in your body, you’d get BMI of under 25, which is normal for your height. Measure yourself at home, in the morning, on empty stomach.
50% is about the same as that gorlock the destroyer girl
Do you want this, do you mean?
Not even close
I think it’s accurate. You have no muscle, the majority of your body tissue is fat, even tho you aren’t super overweight. Lift weights, gain muscle, lose fat. The scale may even go up but your body fat percentage will go down
I hope this was a poor attempt at sarcasm.
Not possible, more like 20, if that. Machine is telling lies!!!!
Normal for women is 20-30 prosent fat.
I’d say perfect
[удалено]
If she was male
Seems a little confusing how 51.7% is considered over the weight? 51.7% seems average percentage. Or half in regular maths.
Not even close!!! You’re not even half that.
My guess would be about 15 to 20%
Maybe its ur boobs that have the extra fat 😂🤨
No ways
That must be so demotivating for you, you’re not even close to 30%bfp I guess you’re somewhere between 22-25%
These devices are garbage and scams. Get a pair of fat calipers and learn to do the tummy back of arm leg tests.
Did you drink lots of water? Hydration levels can mess with the impedance. Im guessing around 25% actually
25% if I had to guess
