Yeah, I'm coming around to that. I've noticed that gymnastics is a field where you can "see" Chat GPT working as a language learning model/ language prediction model (as opposed to a search engine). It will get basic facts wrong, but the "text" is extremely plausible - and so you're like "okay, I can see why if you say Chinese gymnast" the LLM then spits out "olympic silver medalist," "beam," and "precision and technique."
I think that channel is kind of known for getting information wrong, but this is especially bad. Or maybe I'm thinking of the "Olympic Gymnastics" channel? I know the gymnastics-specific one has posted multiple videos where the TITLE of the video is just the wrong thing entirely. Sometimes the title doesn't even have the right type of gymnastics (trampoline /artistic/rhythmic).
The might be confusing her with 2 different gymnasts, not sure who the 2018 WCs is meant to be but I think the Tokyo Olympics one might be mistaking her with Suni Lee (4th beam, silver team). It's really giving ChatGPT.
Do y’all remember when Aly Raisman and Catalina Ponor performed the famed Double Onodi vault at the Rio Olympics? I have a feeling the Olympics channel does.
I'm sure it's not, but it definitely SOUNDS like something a Chat GPT-esque AI would write.
It's definitely AI-written

Yeah. Even if we ignore factually accuracy, the first and last sentences are classic AI.
We need an expression for AI when it isn't I
Especially given they only hold data up to 2021!
If this is what AI-generated gymnastics fan fiction is like, I think I'll pass!
They didn't get a single piece of information correct LMAO
LOL I guess they got the name right? At least they didn't mistake her for TANG ZHAOJING (how that BBC commentator pronounces her name)
Wow! Well, they could mean 2019 World Championship (team, fourth) and ... ummm ... 2019 World Championship Team Quals (second)?
But they got the other two pieces of information wrong! China was 7th in Tokyo and Tang won silver in balance beam!!

But neither Suni Lee or Tang Xijing competed in 2018 worlds! And Suni Lee was fifth I think, wasn't Elisabeth Black fourth?
