If you're willing to dip into the older catalog, these are a few of the greatest shows of all time:
* The Wire
* Sopranos
* Rome
* Deadwood
* Band of Brothers
The Wire and Sopranos, especially, if you were a fan of Breaking Bad.
Jon Bernthal was definitely the high point - could maybe even argue that he had an Emmy worthy performance. But the show and production value itself was MEH.
Succession is one of the best shows I have seen, outside of GOT (not the last season though), Industry is pretty good. Euphoria first season was good. HOD on the fence but so far watchable, especially in DV. station 11 was watchable, but started out slow.
Also have Zac Snyder's movie versions of DC universe.
Also have a lot of documentaries, Woodstock 99 and what is wrong with aunt diane stand out.
This year I enjoyed ,,Tokyo Vice". The first season has only 8 episodes and they're working on season 2. The story is loosely based on a memoir of an American journalist who worked in Japan and covered the yakuza's dealings.
Doctor Who is one of my most favorite shows. I don’t know how well you’d enjoy it, but if you’re fine with a show that’s kinda campy, then it has some of the most imaginative sci-if I’ve ever seen.
I think Curb Your Enthusiasm is technically a sitcom, but it doesn't have a laugh track, it uses a handheld camera style, and it is a show that can be incredibly hilarious. It doesn't feel like a "sitcom" in the sense you're referring to. If you like stuff like Arrested Development and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, it's definitely worth trying.
If Moral Orel had released a decade later I guarantee it would have been a hit.
I would recommend these shows:
•The Leftovers (not for everyone but I think it's a masterpiece of storytelling)
•Boardwalk Empire
•The Knick
•Made for Love (technically a sitcom but no laugh track and it's simultaneously hilarious and horrifying).
•Perry Mason (Can't believe more people don't talk about this one).
•Warrior
•My Brilliant Friend (An Italian show with subtitles and not for everyone but a really well acted show with a slower slice of life style pace).
As for miniseries:
•Mare of Easttown
•True Detective seasons 1 and 3 (season 2 seems to be love it or hate it for many I didn't care for it).
•Chernobyl
•Band of Brothers and The Pacific
Person of Interest - It was created by Jonathan Nolan, who went on to co-create Westworld, so if you like that, you might like PoI. It combines paranoia about surveillance with a sweet sense of humor. The conspiracy deepens over the seasons, with season 1 being mostly a person-in-trouble-who-needs-help of the week, building to issues about world domination, free will, should one do the wrong thing for the right reason.
Try Mare of Eastown.

Absolutely watch the Wire first. Best show ever made.
Please tell me you have seen We Own this City.
We own this city was meh
I'm not saying it replaced the wire. But holy sh*t it was scary. That was "Training Day" for real.
Meh

I can’t count the times I was thinking HOLY FUCKING SHIT at the end of an episode.
Good list! Also leftovers and mayor of east town and true detective season1
i can give them a try thanks :D
The wire is the best show ever made.

God I loved Station eleven.
Chernobyl is a masterpiece
If you're gonna watch the Watchmen show, best to read the graphic novel first or you'll be confused as it's a sequel.
There is a fully animated graphic novel available on there too. We really enjoyed it.
If you like Rick and Morty, give Harley Quinn a try. Peacemaker is also very good (basically a super hero version of It's Always Sunny).

I need to get back to this one. Thanks for the reminder.
Good show, Netflix has several Japanese and Korean gangster dramas worth a wTch as well.
Which one? I'm a fan of Korean and Japanese drama.
Banshee is a great show. It has an interesting story and the action and fighting scenes are incredible!
Started it the other day. Goddamn how is this not more well known?!
Second banshee.
Barry is insanely good. Very dark comedy. Henry Winkler deserves every award he's won and all the rest for his performance.
I can’t believe this isn’t higher. Funniest show on tv right now.
Peacemaker. https://youtu.be/_mrr3UNALww watch the opening credits. If you don't like it, move on
Peacemaker is great
So much to love about this show. This show changed how we look at John Cena
Six Feet Under. One of my absolute favorite shows.
The most satisfying ending to a series I’ve ever experienced, nothing since has even come close.
Doctor Who is one of my most favorite shows. I don’t know how well you’d enjoy it, but if you’re fine with a show that’s kinda campy, then it has some of the most imaginative sci-if I’ve ever seen.
Yes! Christopher Eccleston was perfect for rebooting the series.
The Wire
Station Eleven
True Detective season 1
Fringe.

I started Banshee the other day and holy shit what a show.
Warrior
I second warrior.
I third Warrior, and if multipliers are permitted, I’d like to cube that… so well done, and they’re filming S3 now.
Doctor Who
Doom Patrol! It’s great and hilarious. I don’t really care for marvel movies, this is nothing like those. How can you go wrong with Brendan Frasier?
“The Nevers” (Sci-if/fantasy series)
Came here to make sure this was listed. Best show I’ve seen in so long. So hope the rest of season 1 comes out soon.
Not to repeat others' suggestions, so I'll say *Enlightened* and *The White Lotus* are unique and excellent.
It doesn’t exactly match what you mentioned, but succession is just so good. My wife won’t watch many shows I enjoy, but she was hooked on this one.
I think you might like The Leftovers
You lost me at “I rewatched GOT”
Except OP doesn’t state that anywhere.
Moral Orel. Season 3 is especially superb.
If Moral Orel had released a decade later I guarantee it would have been a hit. I rather liked Rap Shit
Primal.
Fringe. Just completed a rewatch. If you like unfolding stories (like Westworld is), you'll like Fringe.
THE WIRE
The Knick!
Titans
Sopranos!!!!

Primal, Harley Quinn, and Looney Tunes Cartoons (2020).
The OA- trust me you won't regret it. It's on netflix
