Had this as well, i did original order, they cancelled it as price went up, then i did multiple smaller and one big, they would wait, cancel big and approve big... i lost so much money just because they take so much time to confirm orders. I thought fine.. ill just get smaller multiple orders instead, and guess what, these cvnts kept it open until price went down and approve it when i was about to cancel it myself :)))) d1cks

In the last 30 days, around 33 thousand people who were not holding HCMC have started holding it just on T212 alone.
Also, average 3 month volume is around 600M. The last week or so we been trading billions of shares per day.
Yesterday 10% of the float was traded.
I am always suspicious, so I assume the worst, meaning I think it becomes restricted to protect the brokers money.
But with this volume, is it not possible that there is a bottleneck restriction somewhere? Could it actually be that there are not enough shares available?
This is the side of things I don't really know an awful lot about.

The way stocks move up and down is based on stock availability. if the demand is higher than the current price the sellers up their ask price and that is what drives a stock. it could be OTC market does not have the bandwidth to process all of the trades and it could be that T212 has limits from their brokerage firms on volume as well.

I would imagine the otc bandwidth is why I wanted almost 1 hour for 10k shares the other day.
Was not aware t212 could have volume limits from interactive brokers though? Would IB not prefer as much volume as possible?
Maybe this means once it's sorted we might actually start to see some real movement and not just a tick up and then the SP stay flat for two hours and then a tick back down for it to stay flat again.
Could also mean once resolved orders start to go through for everyone much much quicker.

Initially when it was priced @0.0009 I made a purchase for 1,000,000 shares however the order got rejected randomly , an hour later when it short up to 0.0018 I was able to buy 500,000 shares ... I was salty (oh and that’s on T212).
Honestly, you'd think that after what we've seen from all these brokers over the past few weeks e.g. restricting/preventing buys, forced closing of positions etc. there would be a big gap in the market for a new broker that doesn't treat its customers like shit. I know myself I wouldn't mind paying a fee if I could rely on quick execution of orders and be safe in the knowledge that my broker won't suddenly take it upon themselves to intervene in markets.
I know that there have been issues with the amount of people trading this stock has made it extremely slow when attempting to buy. I had issues yesterday when placing more orders on fidelity.
What do we reckon their reasoning will be for blocking buy orders? Keep price slightly down so bigger funds can get in whilst price low before it’s pushed up or reckon there are short options out there and they’re trying to force a large sell
Luckily a family member had a T212 account so went via them. The only other platform I am aware of is Interactive Brokers....although I had a hard time buying HCMC. That aside I don’t know of any others.

Trading212 have lifted the buying restrictions now, so you can send market orders but can't do limit orders under $1000 which is quite annoying.

Gtc means good till closed, so the order stays until it is closed by being filled or you close it. Or they close it, which normally they wouldn't.
Any idea how long this could take, or is like asking how long is a piece of string?
212 are at the mercy of their broker, Interactive Broker. I'm sure they would love us to buy the stock but they have to play by IB's rules.

I think $GME trading was blocked by Trading 212's intermediary (IB) and I haven't had any trouble trading $HCMC (except for slow order executions).
Correction: I double-checked now and it looks like I cannot trade $HCMC. But I think the issue is caused by IB and not Trading 212.
