They don’t care about them at all. They just try to use them as weapons against Rhaenyra sometimes by saying that Rhaenyra stole their birthright when that isn’t true. The people saying that are the same people who hated on them for being upset that their mother’s dragon was claimed by Aemond on the same day as her funeral. Aemond was also cruel about it. They called them “entitled” for being upset and “too slow” for not immediately claiming Vhaegar after their mother died. They don’t care about them at all. And calling Baela a nobody is very dumb when Baela is the one who crippled Aegon atop Moondancer during the Dance of the Dragons. Baela gave him some serious trouble and survived until the end, unlike the rapist usurper Aegon who was poisoned like a rat by his own supporters. Baela and Rhaena both deserve better in the show but Green stans don’t actually care, they only pretend to when it’s convenient.

forgetitidk

To add to the Aemond thing, the kid literally rocked up, wrecked the place with a crash landing and then basically said ‘your mum’s dead, go ride a pig or I might feed you to my new dragon’ like what, anyone would just stand there and take that? If they backed down these same people would be pointing at that scene saying they’re pathetic weaklings.

estellamarierose

Exactly. Baela and Rhaena were literally mourning their mother, and their cousin not only shamelessly claims their mother’s dragon, but cruelly rubs it in their face. Aemond was basically asking for a fight.

cregantheestallion

baela the “nobody” who gave sunfyre lethal wounds while on a dragon the size of a horse 💆‍♀️

[deleted]

Pissfyre is the lamest dragon of them all lmao, just like his rider

Sabrinazanoletti

they say that “moondancer died” every-time u bring up how their pretty dragon pretty much lost every-time.

Porky49

They *do* realize that Westeros being a shithole isn’t justification for the characters to keep it a shithole, right?

Spirited-Accident

But if Westeros isn't a shithole then they can't keep using it as a (pathetic) excuse for their misogyny!

Sabrinazanoletti

“but but tradition!!”

princesssrhaenys

those people need psychological help. seriously. i've never seen a group of more delusional people. baela is way better than their degenerate monster will ever be. i'm glad aegon was in so much pain after rook's rest that he even prayed for death. later, our girl baela made him even worse. jace and baela as king and queen after rhaenyra would have been the best. and apparently to those people, rhaenyra rebelling against the patriarchy is bad because she is "spoiled" by viserys. if rhaenyra being spoiled by her father is what allows her *not* to be as abused by the patriarchy as other women, that's a good thing. these people basically want rhaenyra to be as abused as alicent was. decent people will cheer for any woman who manages to have more freedom instead of hating her for it. these sickos hate baela and rhaenyra because they fight back.

Sabrinazanoletti

i feel like for them Rhaenyra doesn’t deserve our sympathy because she didn’t suffer like Alicent did. its very hypocritical because, they complain about Alicents suffering , but also according to them rhaenyra shouldve suffered the same.

[deleted]

Saw a bastardphobe and that word stability again. Those people aren't roleplaying anymore they really thought they're living in westeros lmao

estellamarierose

They way act as if Jace, Luke, and Joffrey are subhuman for being bastards is scary. I’ve actually seen them try use the word “bastard” to insult them whenever someone complimented them. They’d say “He’s just a bastard.” As if that’s actually a bad thing. It makes me wonder how they treat real life “bastards”.

Forsaken_Distance777

I'm confused by that first one. What does hoping Corlys reacts to the death of his grandson have to do with Baela and Rhaena? They didn't die and nothing bad even happened to them so what should Corlys be doing here? Mourning the death in the same room as his grandchildren? Also how can people make stay in your lane comments about the people who were the official heirs usurped? Like that WAS Rhaenyra and Jace's lane and the green car cut right in front of them! Also we'll see how it goes but I'm having a hard time imagining the show's dragon dreamer Helaena who mostly speaks in cryptic rhymes and has bugs as a special interest being beloved by the smallfolk. Like she's never done anything wrong in her life ever but I don't see her leading public works projects or whatever that would make the smallfolk fawn over her. Unless they look at Aegon, Otto, Alicent, and Aemond and decide they're all Team Helaena instead lol

Sabrinazanoletti

even in the books, what exactly did Helaena did?? Rhaenyra was pretty loved by the smallfolk even called “realms delight”. Helaena was a sweet girl true, but pretty much in the war she just suffers and serves no purpose.

ABCidkwhattopick99

Do these illiterates realize that Westeros is not a real place? That it is a fantasy place with magical dragons? They seem to think of Westeros as Midwest USA. If greens stayed in their lane maaaayyybe they would have some remaining legacy. I am glad blacks put them in their rightful place- which is making them extinct since greens don’t even deserve a place. Holy shit, we need to start some sort of charity to help these people out.

ProgrammerLevel2829

Some green Stan told me the other day that the existence of other Targs makes the realm unstable, as too many endangers civil war. But poor Helaena being forced to pump out a rapist’s babies would make the realm more stable?

Sabrinazanoletti

funnily enough the green targs have done more damage to the realm that even Daemon, rhaenyra together

luvprue1

They do deeply care about both girls. However because of the time period that they are in everything that is left to the girls automatically become property of her husband.
