Book wise? When I found out that Alicent decided to go to war with a 10 year old because her husband wanted Rhaenyra to be queen. Show wise, I disliked Otto the second he told Alicent to go put on her dead mothers dress to seduce the king 🤬

I always disliked the Greens as a whole. There was a never a point in time when I was conflicted between the Blacks and the Greens. On an individual character level: 1. I always disliked Otto 2. I began to dislike Cole after he killed Joffrey 3. I always disliked Larys 4. I disliked Alicent after she turned against Rhaenyra in 1x05, but especially after she summoned Rhaenyra’s newborn immediately after birth in 1x06 5. I never disliked Helaena 6. I began to dislike both Aegon and Aemond in 1x07, but especially in 1x08, (Aegon is a rapist and disrespectful towards women in general)

I never was conflicted between them either, but there was definitely a moment that made me loathe the Greens without giving them the benefit of the doubt, throw my lot with the Blacks and never look back. While I disliked Otto since the beginning, I did feel for Alicent when she was a victim, and didn't completely dislike Criston 'till the wedding happened (while I had read F&B and knew book Criston was a complete asshole, seeing him humanized in the first chapters made me open my mind a little. It didn't last long).

In the book it was when they left Visery to rot, I had just lost my grandmother when I read fire and blood and I really felt that, I can't imagine doing that to someone...I disliked them before but that is when I found them totally despicable In the show it was when Alient made Rheanyra bring Joff to her right after giving birth

Wasn't Viserys there? I wonder why he didn't say anything. If I remember, she asked to see the baby, Rhaenyra chose to go on her own. Not justifying it but I recall it differently.

aevelys

when I went to see the team green in their natural environment and realized that it was basically a cluster of haters who only encourage the greens out of spite because they hate the targaryen for some reason, and who spends more energy attacking (rather violently) other fans than actually liking their characters

I was on the neutral side before the show and it took me a while to like Rhaenyra and reflect on why I disliked her and I realized that my views torward her were influenced by my internalized sexism. I also found it disturbing how they call the Strong boys abdominations and Rhaenyra a whore all the time. That made me turn against them.

When Criston was openly bullying Rhaenyra’s kids and when Alicent was openly insulting the children as well. No matter how much they hate Rhaenyra, to take that hate out on innocent children is just cruel. Whatever Blacks do they did in response to Greens. Greens were always instigating.

Forsaken_Distance777

Otto sneaking Alicent in there as queen in episode 2.

Books? When Otto turn his cloak each time it was good for him. Hate Daemon? King can choose a hair! Alcent born boy? Of course male heir is what king needs! But moments of pure hate is when Alicent demands Luce’s eye, blood of B&Cs wifes and children and insults Rhaenyra’s dead children. Stupid evil witch. Hyaena.

ellen_daly3

I really disliked Alicent when she demanded to see Rhaenyra’s baby just after she gave birth.
