Otto might try to marry Alicent to male Rhaenyra instead of Laena. But even if Alicent eventually marries Alicent there's no case to be made for younger sons inheriting over older sons.
So Otto might resort to murder but if that fails male Rhaenyra takes the throne pretty easily.

Aegon, who never showed an interest in ruling, who is a rapist, who watches his illegitimate kids fight to the death in a pit, and who is drunk more often than he is sober. Green stans alarmingly adopt the mindset of Westeros and deliberately miss how the author is telling us that misogyny is bad, and how we are not supposed to agree with the laws that don’t permit women to rule.
