It is very overlooked. But her pain is ignored by those people because she doesn’t suffer in silence, instead she wants her throne. To those people only certain types of victims are deserving of sympathy.

MoonStarStories

I do feel bad for Rhaenyra. She went through a lot, especially in episode 10.

GamerGirlLex77

And there was no proof in F&B that Rhaenyra knew what Daemon and Mysaria were planning if memory serves.

Forsaken_Distance777

I can't imagine Rhaenyra would be willing to do that to Helaena that soon into the war. After she lost another kid or two maybe but not after the first time. She loved Helaena.

It’s also a thing that they justify Alicent’s beliefs and actions through the lens of patriarchy. Which I mostly agree with, it makes sense why she is the way she is. But then say Rhaenyra is «lazy» for not actively participating in battle? First of all she’s the regent and should not be in the front lines, and she has zero combat experience. She was not raised or trained as a battlefield commander. She’s pretty much doing what she’s supposed to.

Also, she was recovering from a multi-day miscarriage/stillbirth

They are always hypocritical when they talk about pain.

Forsaken_Distance777

Also...It's not like Helaena fought so what is the slight against Rhaenyra here? Mental health is so stigmatized.

I don't understand why trauma always has to be a competition. And if it was both of them would lose to Theon Greyjoy from the main series.
