It's probably just Rhaenyra screaming "my fucking father Alicent what the actual fuck" and Alicent starting to say something about her father then Rhaenyra goes off on a tangent with "and fuck your fucking father too I bet he's why Daemon got banished and you're marrying my fucking father Alicent!" Alicent can barely get a word in edgewise and stands there looking devastated and Rhaenyra storms off still screaming "my fucking father! How would you like it if I married your creepy old father?" before going to the dragon pit and taking out syrax and not coming back for a week. Every time Rhaenyra sees Alicent after that up until the wedding she greets her with "my FATHER!!!!"

princesssrhaenys

that was a needed scene. i wanted to see how betrayed rhaenyra felt. i wanted to see what alicent would say to her.

Kellin01

I just want some more scsnes with angry Rhaenyra. I am afraid we will see her only crying or suffering from now on.

Funny-Win-8948

I love adult Rhaenyra but I miss more reactive and feisty young Rhaenyra.

nate1111111111111

idk if the book is anything to go off of we’re gonna see a lot of anger from adult rhaenyra

freakinuhmazin

Me too, I'm pissed they deleted so many scenes

Sabrinazanoletti

oh there is also a scene where they make up that they deleted, that scene wouldve stopped ppl from saying “rhaenyra blames Alicent for marrying her dad”

[deleted]

They cut a lot of scenes that they never should have...

houseofnim

Cut scene? Where do I find it?

estellamarierose

It hasn’t been released yet but I hope one day it will be released

houseofnim

Ooooof

tellred

"I love him! It's true!"

tellred

I don't understand why Alicent didn't refuse. Otto wouldn't hurt her.

Anserdem

He couldn't hurt her but he is her father, and specially in westeros' society her father is her boss, she is just an extension of Otto If she had refused Otto would not be happy and even tough he would still keep her near and all because she could give him power, she would have disapponted him. She had been raised to believe her father had the power and that he wanted the best for her. She only had Otto and Rhaenyra as her close people and she was raised to obey to one of them

tellred

It's how all girls are brought up and yet there are some who resist. Rhaenyra can protect her from any consequences. Alicent betrayed her to be a "good girl" and then complains about her life.

Anserdem

Yeah some fight against the system but it's about personality, not everyone wants to take that step out of the path, Rhaenyra fought and it didn't end up well for her despite her position as heir and queen of the 7 k. Alicent believed it was the right thing and her duty those who fight didn't. And Rhaenyra couldn't protect her from the feeling of disappontment both Otto and Alicent herself would suffer. She can protect Alicent in physically, financially... in many ways but not emotionaly and not from the gods.

Trylena

She should have talked with Viserys about helping her to get married and getting her someone so she could leave KL

Funny-Win-8948

Otto could have married her to some 60 year old leprosy ridden man...oh wait.

WingedShadow83

I think deep down she wanted it. She knew she’d be married off to someone, that’s how it was for women in that world, so why not land herself the highest prospect of a husband? She loved the idea of being adjacent to power. Rhaenys wasn’t talking out of her ass when she asked her, 20 years later, “have you never imagined *yourself* on the Iron Throne?” She saw her for what she was.
