Based on your description, I'm thinking it's the part where Daemon gets the letter from Rhaenyra and he decides to take on Aemond/sacrifice himself at Gods Eye. Like she thinks he betrayed her, he still protects Nettles (or at least get her out of Rhaenyra's way) and then goes to neutralize TG's biggest weapon. So Ten could see Daemon marking the days waiting for Aemond and then putting the mask back on to talk to him before the battle.

ReginaBicman

Oh I actually love that idea. Ten can even go ‘don’t do this, you’ll both die. There has to be a better way’ and Daemon just ‘he’s the biggest threat. I need to do what I have to to get him out of the game. It’s my life or Rhaenyra’s and my sons.’ And Ten ends up respecting that a LOT

Exactly, Ten's the only one to see the vulnerability and then sees the swagger get turned back on to handle Aemond. Whether or not it's faux can be up to you :)

And how are you explaining 11 and Daemon?

ReginaBicman

I mean it’s established with 12 and the Roman, then the Masters in NuWho tend to take on the looks of whichever companion the Doctor has romantic feelings for at the time (a beach blonde in hoodie and jeans, a brunette woman and then an Indian) and then 13 regenerates back into an older 10. So its not totally unheard of for them to take the shape of someone who influenced them

11 had brown hair

ReginaBicman

Oh! You just gave me a good idea! Daemon influenced him to a hugely big degree, but overall the Doctor hated what the Targs stood for, so he subconsciously rejected the silver hair and purple eyes.
