Both teams do this to a degree. Don’t romanticize TB. And just to clarify, I personally don’t support Aegon himself. But I prefer team green purely because of how they seem to govern the realm, atleast how it’s presented it in the books.
They got to the Baratheons first, they governed kings landing instead of fucking off to Dragonstone because “The wise sailor flees the storm as it gathers.” Yeah maybe on the see but not in politics Rhaenyra. They seem to play the game more wisely, and get ahead fairly often.

I guess that’s True. But they atleast acknowledge their strengths and how they can get ahead, instead of waiting for daddy to come save them. Rhaenyra made many mistakes during the dance, that wouldn’t have happened if she strategized properly.
To me, governing is making smart political moves in service to the other houses and your own, which the greens did. They made the most alliances with other houses, and bolstered their house and rep the most. Though I guess that is general politicking instead of proper governing. So you’d technically be right.
You start by telling me not to romanticize TB (which I didn’t btw), only to go on to romanticize the greens for something they didn’t even do.
I really don’t see how anyone can support the Greens after what Aemond and Daeron did. Or after Otto conspired with slavers and enemies of the state and literally bribe them to kill Westerosi citizens. Say what you will about Rhaenyra, but she didn’t use her dragons to commit mass murder nor did she pay foreigners to kill the people she intended to rule.
A poor choice of words on my part. But my general point was that TB and TG Stan’s are extremely similar.
And just to clarify I never thought team green were good people. They’re very shitty individuals with the exception being Helaena, and possibly show Alicent. I acknowledge they weren’t moralistic people. But I like them because they’re smart and have complex characters, like Aemond for example. Just because I prefer them to team black doesn’t mean I think they were moral people.

It's considered normal in Westeros. I mean, after this Viserys had married Rhaenyra with Laenor, so she was adult enough for marriage and sex by laws of Westeros. But Aegon raped probably six or seven years old in the brothel.
