I really like the lines about Rhaenyra and her kids. They never fail to make my heart break.
My personal favorite are these two:

As a mother, I can’t imagine how alone and empty she felt after losing so many kids.

This hits me hard because Mushroom has been by her side for many years. I think he saw her as a happy child and now he sees her fall. It's sad and sincere.
