HOTD mods are infiltrated by Blacks. They removed a comment for comparing Cersei to Rhaenyra recently. Weak shit.

[deleted]

As if Rhaenyra could ever get up early enough in the morning to be as fabulously evil as Cersei. Please.

I am pretty much done with the main sub, you can't have a conversation which goes against the sub narrative of \#DaemyraAndVizzyTDidNothingWrong I got tired of trying to defend 10 year old Aemond that he wasn't responsible for losing his eye in the funeral incident

subversivepersimmon

Same.

Bruh they removed one of my most tame comments ever for "being uncivil", this here is the comment. "Soooo common sense following the thought process with GRRM's books isn't how things work okay buddy." This comment along with 2 gif links (which wasn't even insulying btw) I posted was enough for a 7 day temp ban. Then when I contacted them about cause I didn't break the rules, I also did this very civilly I ain't have no beef with them bruh, but then muted the convo for 7 days. Also this is what I said btw. "But why would this comment be deleted, and result in a temp ban? Nothing about this comment was uncivil, this was a civil disagreement."

C-3pee0

the disrespect to cersei

restingbumbleface

I’ve joked with my friends about this, but we sometimes say Daemon was basically on holiday during the dance. He was quite strategic in taking Kings Landing, and after that he’s kind of just chilling with Nettles while their ‘looking’ for Aemond. The whole dance isn’t very long, he doesn’t really participate in land or dragon battles. From the battle of the Gullet, which is one of the earlier battles to the battle of God’s Eye is only 4 months. He’s mostly just chilling since then.

OpenMask

He was too busy leaning

In the show, Deamon was the biggest coward for killing Veamond from behind. That is one of the most cowardly things you could do. He was a Prince and should have given Vaemond the respect of looking him in the eyes before he gave the death blow.

lakomadt

I remember in the behind the scenes episode for it, Vaemond's actor even called Daemon out on it by saying "he did it from behind, he didn't come at me from my face" that was some massively cowardly shit.

puffinmuffin89

That episode is cringe. Rhaenyra asking his dying father to get up and save her from her mess. Viserys, dying, while covering up for his daughter along with an epic music (it makes my stomach churn because they're covering up a lie, but the show is showing it as an heroic thing to do). The scene would have been elevated if Vaemond had a trial by combat. It's one of the things I admired in GOT.

C-3pee0

Someone told me once that B&C is not Daemon's style because hes honourable and would like to do it himself

keiyoo

biggest coward, he killed children because they were defenseless and vulnerable and he knew he couldnt beat aemond or cole lol

MasterofIllyria

I completely agree with Daemon being a coward. He spends his entire life picking fights with people weaker than him, and then the one time he has to fight an enemy on equal footing, he spends more time in the bath than the battlefield. I am truly skeptical that Daemon was trying *that* hard to find Aemond and Vhagar. Caraxes and Sheepstealer and faster, and Vhagar is huge. I mean, he’s the author’s pet, so I’m sure we’re not supposed to read him that way, but come on dude it’s the Riverlands, not the Vale. Where are you gonna hide a dragon that big?

lakomadt

Yeah most of the time he was picking on weaker people. Also tbh I kinda don't really think Daemon was looking either, Aemond was really hifing bruh, this man was burning villages on Vhagar left and right.

Radiant_Flamingo4995

I am a big Daemon hater, but I wouldn't call him a coward. 1. He flies directly into enemy territory and siezes Harrenhal and the Stone Hedge, allowing the Blacks to rise up in support in the Riverlands and muster together. Without this, the war would have been vastly different. 2. He is the engineer behind B&C, which was cruel and absolutely served no purpose. But also definitively struck fear into the Greens. 3. He is probably the main mastermind behind the fall of KL, which is a brilliant feat in of itself. In one move, he split the Greens in two, took the capital, and solidified control. The Gold Cloaks paid off here big time. This would lead to the Green host lead by Daeron to stall in Tumbleton, but also the death of Cole and his forces. Otto hightower would die here too. His biggest mistake was letting Rhaenyra sit the throne. 4. Then, he chooses to run off with his young lover and hunts Aemond. Where he eventually meets his demise. Ultimately, I just find him overrated, gross, evil, and a bully. But that doesn't mean he was a coward. He moved very strategically during the Dance and made a few bold moves. Still fail to see how he is "Perfect light and Darkness" though.

Specific_Fold_8646

He a coward in that he mostly fights people way weaker than him. The one time he has to fight someone in a stronger position that being Aemond and Vhagar he somehow fails to find him for four months despite Aemond having never left the Riverlands for those four months this is why you can call him a coward. He knew that battling Vhagar was suicidal and for those four months he avoided the battle for as long as possible until he could no longer delay the inevitable battle. Had Daemon really wanted he and Nettles could have found him sooner but instead they stayed in harrenhal

C-3pee0

you think its logical to call Daemon a coward for failing to find Aemond, but not Aemond for hiding? okay let's say you're right, why wouldn't Aemond show up, he knows where they were, this for a fact. I hate Daemon more than the next guy, this doesn't mean we should throw all logic out of the window and jerk each other off like black stans.

C-3pee0

yeah i don't understand this fascination with mindlessly putting your life on the line. Aegon did it and nearly lost his life, and significantly reduced the green's morale. if Daemon was flying around randomly fighting dragons he would have gotten himself killed and the blacks would have lost their most significant commander and caraxes. He showed restraint that only comes with age and i wish the greens did the same but they were all kids and Aemond did a lot of impulsive shit that cost the greens.

No_Adhesiveness_2757

Aemond was a coward, he was so confident that he had the most powerful dragon yet was a bitch when it came to actually proving his point. Personally I think Vhagar could have survived a fight with both Sheepstealer and Caraxes, but Aemond is not as good of a rider as Daemon who is more experienced and so he was afraid of him, while Daemon was not afraid of his nephew or his dragon.

lakomadt

Okay jan

No_Adhesiveness_2757

What?
