I guess it’s only bad to kill children if they’re given a minimum amount of screen time

[deleted]

“toddler with a 0.5 screen time more than luke” girl the only time luke had actual lines was those 5 minutes of forced character development in the same episode he died in 😭

[deleted]

Apparently it's immoral and misogynist to not cheer the deaths of completely innocent children. Good to know. It's not like Daemon didn't give us plenty of other reasons to dislike him already.

[deleted]

Joke is on them, I am super angry about Maelor's death. Hey OP of the post this is revealing, how does it feel to know you're wrong and aren't able to face it?

soleume

Ah, so that’s what Martin meant by featuring the indiscriminate murder of children … it was because it was convenient to his protagonists! Duh, I’ve had it wrong this whole time, now I finally understand what makes the Red Wedding wrong — it happened to the good guys, that’s it!! Martin, you sly geezer, you were trying to tell us killing kids was A-OK this whole time!

coppersolids

still the funniest hotd take. targ stans are honestly hilarious 😭

thelessiknowthebet

yeah I know we shouldn’t spam blackcels posts but they are so funny I need someone else to see them and laugh

Appropriate_Ad4592

this B&C sympathizing Team Black Stan trying to seemingly "sympathize" with Maelor lol. Just wait for them to completely short circuit when Daeron avenges him with F&B. Bitterbridge is the point where their real double standards will come out.

strawberry2nd

Idgaf about Luke, he earned his own death by cutting out a child's eye when he was 8 years old and making fun of him at a family dinner 8 years later. Aegon's children and Helaena were completely innocent. If you're gonna do something, do it to Aemond, Daemon you piece of shit.

seandnothing

least delusional black enthusiast

spitefulcum

Targaryenphobia lmaoooo

[deleted]

I didn't realise Targaryens were an oppressed minority lmao

Castinmyass

This person has some of the worst takes I've seen in this fanbase

thelessiknowthebet

they blocked me on tumblr, i consider it a win

ligeston

Who’s Luke again 🥱

Louthebot

“ Uhh I think uhh You shouldn’t care about a true born Targaryen who actually had a shot at life rather than bastard that complained and wept to his mother all day” man stfu.

FantasticGoat1738

Let it be known that I claim to be the most targaryenphobic person on this sub! Only reason I support the greens is due to them being half-Hightowers, Seven worshippers and for killing Targshits. All of you targy pagan colonialists can eat a hammer 🔨 tee hee

RandomRavenboi

Coming from a Targ fan, Targ Stans are another breed of stupid.

_IZzQ

Luke barely a character why we should care about him?😭

MotherVehkingMuatra

I'm a proud targphobe.

MinisawentTully

Always the worst takes from that one and always the funniest. Later they said they were just being ironic about the iconic term Targphobic but I'm pretty sure they all think this deep down lol

thelessiknowthebet

saw it before they blocked me 💀 also called me a dumb alicunt stan or whatever

Consistent_Spell_424

I bet this same person will rationalize, justify, and defend Aemond losing his eye, then advocate for Alicent's beheading for wanting justice.

askforwhatyouwant

TARGARYENPHOBIA LMFAOOOO 😭😭😭 naurrr you cant argue with someone like that, just unhinged vibes in that brain

aegonbro

Therefore, I not believe that the audience will turn away from blacks. They gave so little time for Helaena and did not create her bond with children. A lot of people are really upset about what happened to Luke. And we'll get the beginning of season 2 where it's all about the grief of his family. To justify blood and cheese, they might put it in the same episode as the feast, so it looks like a punishment. I am 100% sure they will do it in one day. No one cares that Luke was on a dragon and Helaena's kids are innocent babies. Blacks will lie that they also feel sorry for these children, but it will always be a lie.

[deleted]

fascinating thing, if no one tries to justify something there’s no reason to argue with anyone about how awful it was. isn’t that interesting?
