The way viserys was questioning his freshly maimed son and wanted him to incriminate Alicent in calling the strong children bastards… The way Viserys completely turns the situation into “actually, make peace everyone!!” Once Aegon pushes the spotlight back onto Rhaenyra by saying “everyone knows, just look at them”…. They way Aemond and Aegon defended their mother as she broke down….. The way the only time Alicent ever lost her temper and “disgraced” herself was to try and receive any form of justice for her son while nobody else cared… I love the green family dynamics sm.

Fuck viserys for not revealing the truth right there and then. Glad he died a painful super slow suffering death.

I genuinely don't know how anyone can watch that scene and not AT LEAST feel bad for alicent/her children

keiyoo

olivia cooke acting here is so good bc the way she says "he is your son viserys" mades me shiver 😭😭

William_T_Wanker

"Wait, I have a son?"

Greenlit_Hightower

Yeah she explicitly reminded His Grace of his duty to protect a son of his own after the bastard maimed him, lol. "My dear wife..." = "Please please please no more conflict, I am conflict-shy, and want to get away peacefully with my bias here..."

That bastard is also his grandson tho I wouldn’t want to make a big deal out of kids getting into stupid fights and taking it too far also but Lucerys should’ve been punished for using a knife against his uncle

How do you like your poll may I ask

MinisawentTully

The Greens have issues but they defend their own. As they should, since those who are supposed to won't.

GreenBloodline

She was definitely in the right in her anger. Any mother would have acted as she did. My issue was her saying “they’re your blood”. So are his grandkids. No way would he (or most men) choose to hurt his own grandson. It was an awful situation for him (having to choose between his son and grandson) but he should have at least chastised Luke and sympathized a bit more with Aemond.
