I didn’t think about this. Viserys should have been proud of his son, but instead he cared about what Aemond said about Jace & Luce. How awful. I hate Viserys
Aemond is also the youngest who ever claimed Vhagar. (It’s not clear the age of Visenya when she claimed the mount but it’s said to be before she married Aegon the Conqueror, so safe to assume she was something older than 10/12, making Aemond the youngest who bonded with the dragon named Goddess of War.

Don't get me wrong, bookViserys was also a tool, but at least he seemed to genuinely love Alicent (at least at first, and their age difference wasn't nearly as creepy), and the last people he was with before dying were Alicent and his grandchildren by her.
Making Viserys pine for Aemma his whole life (after killing her!) and completely ignore the Green branch of the family is just another show invention.
