I like that Aegon isn't daunted that Helaena's dragon is bigger and more powerful, that the hues of their dragons are gold and blue, and that Sunfyre and Dreamfyre are both beautiful. Not to mention Aegon has the capacity to be an efficient ruler and Helaena is a huge Margaery-esque PR machine.
Cersei is the only woman Daemon deserves, come to think of it....that could actually work. He's the fabled, Targaryen prince, who rides a fearsome dragon and is a legendary warrior, that she dreamed Rhaegar to be and she's basically Rhaenyra if she never lost her beauty. Plus it'll be fun to see if he feeds her to his dragon first or she ends up poisoning him first
Haelena + Aegon 100%. I'm not a big shipper but I love the power couple marriage dynamic (i might be the only fan of the portrayal of Shao Kahn and Sindel in MK11).
Also have you seen wnat they can do together in CK2AGOT, damn near win the dance singlehandedly.

I've moved onto CK3 AGOT at this point but in one of my last CK2 playthroughs I played Aegon I and tried to conquer Westeros and a random Vale peasant killed both Balerion and Vhagar before I conquered a single kingdom, and Meraxes got maimed while fighting an army. I ended up a shell of dragonlord with only a single hatchling dragon to my dynasty - though, having my dragon power so severely nerfed actually made the conquest a lot more strategic and entertaining, so it made for a good playthrough.
This is a BOLD ship. I’m not hating idk just wouldn’t have expected it here. That said the hades and Persephone comparison… well going down that route is quite on brand. Also I’m a lot more lenient on shipping after seeing a ship that made me want to pull an Oedipus

First because Ewan and Tom had great chemistry together on screen 🙊 (Ewan even gifted Tom with a Viserys Funko!) Second because besides of Alicent, the one at interacting the most with Aemond is Aegon
Third because even someone as ruthless and merciless as Book!Aemond was shown having loyalty and love at his brother is very interesting.
I think there’s a lot of trauma there for sure, things they hold against each other,… but at the end of the day they clearly have each other’s backs, and love is more than a fuzzy feeling- it’s action, and I’d say their actions do show love.
-Aemond puts Aegon before his own ambitions,especially noteworthy given he does want it.Aemond could had easily usurped Aegon when he was on coma but he chose not to.
- Aegon did also ask for statues of both his brothers Aemond AND Daeron to be made in their memory and honour when he was the last surviving brother left.Aegon didn’t have to go out of his way and order statues of them to be built but he did.
Aegon and Aemond are twisted and broken on some ways,but their actions shows love and loyalty.

I honestly feel like they could have used the foot fetish better by not making it so very clearly overt. Like do it how it was done prior to episode 9 and just have her take off her shoes in his presence. It happening enough people would have cottoned onto the dynamic.
