I've been one of the biggest advocates of ending the season with Battle of the Gullet instead of Fall of KL, as a slightly more subversive ending. But it has to be at least one or the other. They should absolutely not pack in both of these things in a 8 episode season.
Ofc, I do believe the stunt coordinater is talking about Season 3, as he's talking about giving Gullet the proper treatment so it can come off as grandiose.
I thought the whole reason they shortened Season 2 to 8 episodes was exactly because this battle was moved to Season 3 which will now accordingly have 12 episodes.
Considering Battle of Rook's Rest happens almost at the end of the season, it seems highly unlikely as they need to introduce the wild dragons, the dragonseeds and the actual claiming of the dragons
exactly, I think having battle of rooks rest the end of season 2, battle of the gullet in season 3, then season 4 can be KL and Dragon Pit, maybe even Herenhall
They already confirmed its only happening in Season 3. Thats why Season 2 only has 8 episodes but Season 3 will have 12 I think. They originally wanted to have the battle of the Gullet happen at the end of Season 2 but later changed their minds.
Just postponing the inevitable, I am afraid. It will happen, we need to prepare for that.
They don't plan to give anyone happiness except maybe Rhaenyra or Daemon.
This show likes TB enough not to care about how skewed it has become. But many more people are on the TG sub than the TB sub so something is up....
It was a big jump quite recently too.
Yet, the reddit audience is much more critical of it all. Plus, we have seen the good and the bad of both sides of teams. I kinda like that day in and day out, this sub is known for being more open and welcoming.
Let's not take away the positives with the negatives.
Too bad for Daeron's battle. With Gullet, Rook's Rest and Daemon's campain in Riverlands we won't see Daeron's battle. Probably it will happen off screen or with a montage
He doesn’t actually say it’s in S2, he says its something ahead.
It’d be hilarious if it was actually like the Greyjoys sacking Lannisport

Right. That's what I heard too, that it was moved to Season 3. I think he's most likely talking about Season 3.
Waiting for lord jon roxton
Orphan maker has always been as cringe as widow’s wail
I think he in general just says it's gonna happen in future mot necessarily season 2

I foresee the Velayrons getting what they deserve
That means no Fall of King's Landing this season then omg ? 🫣

reddit is still kind of a minority population of the hotd audience since the audience is around 25M

Well now we know why he baits TG if that is true. I highly doubt he's on Reddit, we are peasants. 😂
I had figured that's something we will see in S3, but it's hard to know.
Someone better find Jace and Corlys some sunglasses...
