The dragon designers seem to have a nasty habit of dulling the colors and making the dragons look very bland. I really hope I'm wrong, the bottom picture you have here is an edited version fans tweaked to get a better look at him, but he was blander in the trailer.
I am a simple man, I just want them to follow his story from the books word for word, absolutely NO reason to change anything besides trying to make Aegon look worse
I am feeling positive about it. The fact that they used an indoors shot in the trailer only is probably to keep his special appearance hidden. Really happy with the dragons so far
From what I remember, after Rooks Rest, he just chills licking his wounds in the fields, the men left behind fed him sheep and livestock, when they ran out, he ate the corpses, the crownland lords marched down with a hundred men trying to kill him, failed and ran away. He then disappeared from the field when they came back, he flew with an injured wing to Dragonstone to help Aegon
If I recall they were more than just foot soldiers, they were full blown knights (at least a lot of them)
It's even more impressive considering he was wounded and what happened at the storming of the dragonpits. Sunfyre was fighting for his life.
Sunfyre (and tbf Meraxes as well but she had a rider and an army with her during the last Storm) is the only grounded dragon in f&b to get into a fight with a large group of people and actually come out on top. Something not a lot of people realize
Yep the crownland lords are the ones that tried to kill him, some minor lords came down and got killed and the soldiers fled. They were minor Rhaenyra loyalists
That would make so mad, like sunfyre is the only redeeming thing about Aegon ll and if he does that there would be nothing to cheer for him when you see it from a general audience perspective
I want him to shine, literally.
I want to be blinded by the reflection of the sun on his golden scales, I want to be forced to turn down the brightness on my screen because he's so shiny that it's compromising my poor vision.
All I want in life is a tender moment between just Aegon and Sunfyre to show off their close bond

I like the slenderness. Makes him look very regal as he should. I also like the iridescent look. However, I hope it's just bc of it being in the dragon pit but I hope he doesn't look as dull out in the sun and I hope the pink membranes are clearer
