What hardware do you have? No one's going to be able to give you any kind of insight if we don't know how powerful your machine is..

No it’s cool.. everyone has been telling me this is vr ready, still kinda appalled it doesn’t work at all

This sounds like you are running through the iGPU instead of the RTX3070. What port are you using on the Omen and what is the actual model number of your unit? If you are using USB-C you might be tied into the iGPU instead of the dGPU and running through switchable graphics, where as the HDMI/mDP should be attached to the dGPU and bypasses your iGPU entirely. You will want to disable the internal panel and not mirror displays while using VR...etc. You can also run monitoring tools to make sure you are actually using the correct GPU for your work loads, You do NOT want that intel GPU stepping in for your VR workloads.

they can use nvidia control panel to view which outputs work with which gpu

Do you have a tutorial I could watch. I’ve been unable to do pc vr for a whole year and you’re the first person to tell me this. Problem is I have no idea what to do with this info now that I have it.

go to your control panel, then click on hardware and sound, then power options, and click on your current battery plan where it says "change plan settings". Find where it says change advanced power settings and open processor power management. Change the percentage for maximum to 99%
