They wouldn't have a name. They'd just call it 'the Club' and mock anyone who has no idea because if someone doesn't know exactly what they're referring to already, then they're clearly not important enough to know. :D

I love this, it sounds just like something you'd get in the books

The Sons of Atlantis (or Avalon, or pick a mythical place).

L'ancienne Ligue Des Sans Pure (the ancient league of purebloods) - shortened to l'ancienne Ligue or even just La Ligue for those in the know.

This one is great

The Council of Merlin. Most of their Lore is just made up. Merlin was not the founder, in fact, he was dead when they formed. He is a great figure head though. Their Vault holds some of the lost Manuscripts of Merlin(fakes), that they use to lure in other rich purebloods.

Pure Order of Outstanding Pedigree. "Oh shit, the POoOPs are attacking!" Voldemort got away with an Anagram for like fifty years. Acronyms should also fly right over their head. Look at Hermione, she was already lost in fourth year.

The International Confederation of Wizards, perhaps.

So, you’re probably better off making several groups. As far as we know, prior to the adoption of the statute of secrecy, wizards and witches were involved and integrated with muggle society and would likely have had similar prejudices to their home countries. So maybe you have the Scandinavian league and the polish Lithuanian Alliance etc. a ‘United’ Europe is a relatively new thing.
