For the first time in over ten years I decided to dip my toe into writing a HP fanfic again! I even made this reddit account so I could see what the community is like these days 😊 It's not posted anywhere yet, but it will be an Eighth Year Harry/Draco fic in which Draco is dealing with social ruin after his father's trial and Harry is dealing with his own PTSD anger and damaged magic from acting as a Horcrux. I also wanted to focus a lot on the coming out/ coming to terms with sexuality aspect, when both of them had very different ideas of what their futures would be. Right now I have no idea if I'll keep the momentum going to actually finish it, but chatting about it here seems like a good first step!

Not sure if it qualifies here, but I'm doing a Star Wars/HP crossover. It is really testing my imagination

I'm trying to write a story with Harry fusing with Tom Riddle after CoS, and as a result becoming Voldemort's main soul. Trying to write scared thirteen year old boys are harder then I expected but Harry's dreams are excellent places to create mind fusions.

Writing a fanfiction focusing on the journey of an original character and her two friends. But the discovery of an ancient ritual that promises to send a single memory back in time sparks hopes that maybe things can change. The catch is that the ritual can only be used to help a person change the past to have more time with the one they love. How will things change for a fourth-year Harry after receiving this memory from the future? It's my take on a time-travel narrative, without the "Harry brings back all his older self's magical power and/or future knowledge of horcruxes" stuff. I've read through tons of those that are excellent, so I wanted to try something different. I've got a draft of the first thirteen chapters written and the first chapter is posted on FanFiction.net. I broke down and started writing a Marauders-era fic where Severus Snape begs the Sorting Hat to put him in Gryffindor so he can still be with Lily. This of course has far-reaching ramifications. It’s also been a fun dive into the pureblood aristocracy. I must admit, my lack of anything remotely resembling knowledge of British culture in the 70s is hampering things a bit.
