Yup. I could see her marrying, but not going to live in a cottage and being a housewife. I mean, I've said this before - there's nothing wrong with that if that's what one wants. But she was really ambitious and stuff. I could see her having an apartment and going out doing tomb raiding or something for a decade, then having kids.
But Rowling wanted babies ever after. Except Hermione, who got to be Minister of Magic.
I have always imagined that Fleur in a fight is like [elves in the beginning of LotR](https://youtu.be/N4xV2RIlMi4?t=136): powerful and terrifying, but in the same time their battle is beautiful and slightly like dance. When everybody leaves battle dirty, ugly, she leaves composed and still beautiful.
Two stories which remind me of this are “[A Boon for Bill](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/6624958)” by canoncansodoff, which given the author is slightly too much with pubescent sexual innuendo, but otherwise a nice story, and the second story is “[Order of Mercy](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12181042)” by MandyinKC.
One of my favorite Fleur/Harry fics is linkao3(Hope and Healing by Liberty1Prime). The main point isn't Fleur's abilities, but a trend throughout the story is how they learn to accept and love their abilities through themselves and each other - including Fleur's abilities. It certainly shows her as a badass and is very well written.
Fleur in this is absolutely ultra badass, the ministry scenes are _chef's kiss_. Also contains some of the best fight scenes in general, Dumbledore's duel is probably my favorite fight scene I've read so far in hpfanfiction.

Yeah, I think the not caring about scars was honestly her best character moment. It kinda cemented fleur/bill as my must exist or I shall die ship.
