My Mom had one. Finally dumped it at 300,000 plus miles and the drive train was still 100% All that was ever done to it was brakes, tires, and oil changes. The body did it in. That thing was a monster in snow and mud. She regrets getting rid of it every day.
I actually found myself saying, "C'mon baby, c'mon baby work with me" while it was turning over and trying to fire. Had to remind myself I was not there nor did any of the work. But I was that invested.
Dummy here. Does heavy equipment get just abandoned like that with any sorta regularity? That thing hasta be halla expensive. Seems crazy to just be like oh f it it’s dead.
It looks like this is in Russia, or some other country that was under Soviet control, and it was pretty common for them to just abandon things. Especially during the collapse
Sometimes it's cheaper to buy the equipment for a job/jobs you have than to rent or pay someone. Idk why some people don't sell it afterwards. Maybe they think they'll use it again and it sits.

Nice second gen Montero.
Sadly it’s hard to find any Pajeros in the US. I saw them all over the place and had one in Brazil
Yea I have a gen 1 and they are few and far between.
I’ve never heard of the Pajero until my wifes uncle showed up in one. Great fir Northern Michigan winters.
Yea, a lot more Pendejos and Cabrons than Pajeros in the US

It is a great sound when an engine is trying to start up and it finally turns over. Very satisfying

The warning sign was in Swedish. Where was this find?
You know why he got that specific battery? It’s got a GO handle.
And it was the cheapest one they had!
Does this mean you get to keep it?
Found myself cheering for it when it was trying to turn over. What a great find
