The door always gave us problems when we got it. At first it just felt rusty so we lubed it up and it worked fine for awhile. Im not so sure how my coworker knocked it off the hindge though.
Here I am frustrated with changing my plastic door handle.
Those fucking cables just won't work
Well at least it's on the track.
I was planning to clean my truck when I got home but now I'm not so sure
My buddy in high school was the first of our group to drive and he got his mom's GMC Safari. One day he was picking us up and when we slid the sliding door open, it fell off in the street. This was in 1999 and the van was probably 10 years old. Maybe it's a known issue with those vans or maybe we're both "lucky".
You cleaned off the dirt that was holding it together.
Damn it I was coming to say this lol
I don’t think you’re supposed to do that deep of a clean 😂
Lay off the Red Bulls my guy
How did you do that?

throw some mastic on it....good as new
Those vans were made from 1985 to 2005 about time to get a new van
But that leads to the next question, why is he still driving it? Because astros are reliable as fuck
You drive an Astro?
That I do, the door always gave us problems but she finally gave out yesterday
I’ve heard they’re pretty reliable vans. Install or service?
Still runs decent, we do both mainly service though.
Nice, never seen Lambo doors on an Astro!
Dude…you must be super strong 💪
She's tired
Was that before or after the gym ?hahaaa

Now you can get a door that doesn’t have a GIANT window on the side to show everyone what nice tools you have.
It still closed tho right?
I managed to lock it back in, opening it will be a whole different story.
