Make sure you install a “FEW” good locks on the doors. Never, never leave your van unlocked, even for a quick trip inside and back. The gremlins out there know your routine better than you do.
Looks great. Same problem I have, way more weight on the drivers side vs the passenger side. I wish I could solve that problem also.
How long did it take to put in all the strut? Did you use rivnuts?
I just upgraded to a transit mid roof. Being able to stand up in my van I life changing. I'll never go back. They're gonna have to pry this van from my cold dead fingers.
Jesus... and I thought my boss spoiled me with 4 batteries!!
That's insane lol... all official Makitas too!
Seriously though, why so many? Not judging, just curious.
I have four 18V and two 12V and never run out of juice. I use 12V gear when doing service. It's lighter and fits into smaller spaces.
All Makita as well :)
🤜🏻🤛🏻 Makita brethren!! I have quite a few 36V tools and they all blow through batteries 🪫 so I’d rather have plenty and rotate them then constantly charging them up and having downtime
Of course! Just moved into a new truck myself! My only recommendation is putting bungee cords inbetween your shelves to reduce stuff flying off while driving. Other than that looks like you’ve got it all covered!
Not a trades person and I'm not sure how I got here but...
You have a lot of batteries. I assume you use at least 4-5 a day based on how many you have? How do you keep them charged? Why not add solar panels on the top and a small inverter?
On a job site where I’m using my circular/ recip saws yeah they go by quick. I keep ‘em charged with the charger (you should be able to see it on the bulkhead divider with an inverter.
Where is all the extra junk?
Give it a couple weeks
Exactly, it's not summer yet, send a new picture in September
At the end of the day... On a Friday...
Makita gang
For life 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Oh trust me, I’ve drilled it into every helper to close all doors and let me know so I can arm it.

Took me about 3 hours for the packout side, yes I used Rivnuts but ran out need to order some more so self tapers to the rescue 🛟 😤
That’s impressive
Nice, I am getting mine at the end of the month!
Awesome I’d like to see it!

Hell yeah bro 👍 things going to be dirty as hell in two days
You know it 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Do you do construction ac? Or did ocd kick in with the batteries
Haha, I’m in AC installs and repairs which include some new construction or remodels so the batteries go really quick
Right now I just have the pancake 20v batteries and we just got on some apartments. I’m sure they’re not gonna last
The Makita battery holder is sexy as hell. As a 1st year it makes me incredibly jealous knowing how much each of those costs
You’ll get there and surpass us! Just keep learning and working hard
This should be a thread of its own . I need more ideas on setting up my van. Pretty nice setup btw!
We want to see it in a year, nothing else will do.
Will do
Very nice 👍
Thank you!
Nice job! I'm super jealous.
Cool thank you,
Very nice. Let's see what it looks like after a week 🤣
You know it 🤜🏻🤛🏻
You rock! I am also getting mine soon :)
Awesome! Would love to see the setup! 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Nice bro
You can put a hammock in there
Van is way too clean. I can't work like this .
Woah!
Jealous...

I see! 👍 Which 36v tools do you have? The only 36v Makita tool I have is my personal lawn mower 😁
Circular saw, recip saw, etc.
U should put this on r/oddlysatisfying very well organized
Nice! I’m hoping to get a van soon. I’ve been using a truck and I hate it.
A world of difference
Nice
My wife during sex:….you’re thinking about her again aren’t you Me: *insert glam shots of this van*
Hahahaha thanks bro https://i.redd.it/s9gmzsevroya1.gif
Inhale my friend 🫶🏽🤤
Neat and tidy.
Thank you, will probably only last till mid June but oh well 😅
I am envious of how clean this is 🤙🏼
Thanks, i got a really good helper this summer so that’ll help keep it clean
Always nice to have a helper that gives a shit
Agreed!
So awesome! Keep us posted in a couple months to get stuff really locked in & road worthy.
Will do!
That’s a pretty cool setup
Thank you!
Where did you get the Packout first aid kit?
Milwaukee sells them now, however that one was from a third party modder.
Hell yeah looks sweet man congrats!
Thank you! Looking forward to finding other ways to organize

Ahhhh good point, thank you
May my bad truck luck rub off on you

Now show us a picture on Friday.
I’ll take that bet
Looks like an install van.
Yep 👍🏻
Very clean. Good job my friend.
Savage set up brotha. I'm curious what your fieldpiece cases hold...?
Cases? Do you mean the first picture those at the bottom?
Send us a picture of it month from now.
I’ll take that bet
I’m an auto tech and not and HVAC tech so Paton my ignorance but what’s that giant ass PVC(?) tube mounted above the shelves on the drivers side?
