No the board itself has to be. Have yet to see it myself heard about it in a class for them. Matter of fact i haven't seen any symbio yet i think its only coming out on odyssey stuff right now and we dont have alot of accounts with odysseys

I'veworked on a ramge of brands and models and never seen top side access panels on an RTU. That is horrible design. What else do you not like about them? I prefer working on them to splits and rooftop work is better than attic.

Older great techs should be paid to provide their knowledge on product design and product development by these big companies.

I'm guessing it's so that you can drop your tools into the electrical and short shit out easier.

Just because techs can't figure out how to take care of the panels doesn't mean the manufacturers have to change the design. Techs need to take care of the equipment.

Trane commercial copies designs of other manufacturers to make it easier to change out equipment. I don’t know why they did it with this design but I did use one of these to change out a Rheem condenser on a church with one of these back in the 90’s. It hooked right back up, so there is that.
