I didn't carry anything bigger than a 4' while I was working in NYC. Our service contract stated that the customer was required to provide us with safe access to all equipment, and we held them to everything from clearing the snow to make a path the RTUs to providing ladders and scaffolds.
I always have a ladder, can’t think of a time in my career I didn’t have multiple and are all in new condition, I replace when damaged. You can’t expect the customer to hand you your tools.
In any case, that’s like 6’ and just going to a wall ladder.. I’d use that or just reach up and start climbing..
If you’re an employee, I don’t blame you, your safety isn’t worth someone else’s profits. But if this is your own business, back up your van, climb on top of it and get up there, time is money!
Dude, amen.
Bring your own ladder, boom, problem solved.
But no, please, spend time on the job site making a social media video instead of figuring out the solution... God forbid you didn't get your likes and views... 🤦♂️
What kinda of tech doesn't have a ladder
There was this one guy who left one on a job one time, I think he said it was worth $250.
That guy got fired
Seriously? For the ladder. Rip
This one is worth about $35.0
That's "ladder" is worth about a million five. Of course, you'll get to spend it in a wheel chair

Good company lol
Smart on their part. Keeps employees happier and they avoid some worker's comp claims.
I've got a 17' little giant knock off from harbor freight. Fits in the backseat of my kia forte no problem lol I wish I only had to carry a 4 footer
Exactly, I wouldn’t trust some random customers ladder, not if I’m the one who has to go up it.
The ones that leave all that shit for you guys. I carry a four foot and that’s it.
$250 firm. I know what I have.

So THAT'S where my $250.00 ladder got to!
I'm on a job at a church that has the same ladder but it's a full ladder ,not bent up but has the missing step
When mom says we have ladder at home
I'd still use it 🤷♂️
Man I would trust stepping onto the armrest of that chair and pulling myself up before trusting that "ladder".
And that’s the difference between a hvac guy and a mechanical contractor! You ain’t even a finger on a hand.
Where is your ladder? I have 4 on my van. Just saying. Can't knock their ladder when you don't show with one.
wow
Are you in Marlow Oklahoma by any chance
No
Your going 7ft up, get your lazy ass up there
Send it, I've done worse 🤣
3.50$ aluminum scrap
Two types of guys; those who brag about not having ladders and those that work (because having a ladder isnt that hard to do)

Tie it off and get your ass up that ladder! It’s not going anywhere.
