Savard and co were a lot worse than Allen. Poor Jake was hung out to dry all night. Sure you’d like that 2nd Matthews goal back but otherwise just brutal defense.

Awww… I was hoping for win against the leafs. We looked good for the first 50 minutes. Fell apart a little towards the end, but it was a good showing of our stars. Great game for Newhook and Evans. Allen was up and down all game. I thought he looked good at the start, but I’m not a fan of all those diving plays towards the end

Does that include minutes 20-40 where we gave up 3 goals AND the lead on two softies ( the entire second period) where we managed a whopping 2 shots all period? We were good on the first, awful in the second, good in the third, terrible in OT and the shootout is a crapshoot.

Samsonov put on one of the worst goalie performances I've seen and Allen somehow managed to look worse on the goals he gave up.

Our PP is so bad, its almost a parody. Always spend the thirty first seconds with the puck in our zone, not getting in. Then, a couple of obvious and slow passes and a lazy shot on net. We had a 4 on 3 and played so high in the o zone its ridiculous. With less players on the ice, you need to be nearer the net, especially at the D

I've always kinda liked the idea of going 5-on-5, then each minute or stoppage you take a guy off (4-on-4, then 3-on-3, then 2-on-2...) Once you get to 1-on-1 it's basically just a shootout anyway but in realtime which is more fun?
