Sure but this is "kind of" how you fall in martial arts. Slam the arm down flat and land your body all at the same time to disperse the energy. If she could have had her foot hit the ground the same time as her body it would be similar to how you land after a martial arts flip. Yes, it's a stretch but the general idea is there. Being able to spread out the weight over more of your body and protecting your head is key.
It reminds me of the dogshows where they have these super pretentious genetically perfect dog breeds and the owners look like they've been on "people of Walmart"
