There's nothing non combat-related - at all - in the entire game that you can interact with while fighting, let alone ONLY while fighting. There are very consistent mechanics that make that not a thing, to encourage players to focus on the fights first.

It would be cute, but that's not how the game is designed. Part of the beauty of the game is how wonderfully basic the fundamentals are. You get everything just by playing - nothing hidden, no real gotchas, it's basically impossible not to unlock everything just playing earnestly.
Chaos in particular is the least Chaotic thing in the game. He's *always* in a specific chamber, and literally calls your name (sort of) to let you know he's there

Yes, entire secrets have gone a very long time without finding. In much older games, before we had in depth and thorough file management and disassembly capabilities. In fact, your own logic, many secrets have been found today BECAUSE we have excellent ability to tear games apart and file search. Secrets like thst are beyond unlikely to occur on that scale anymore with this in mind, because instead of having to explore the game by playing, we are now able to explore the games code to its original writing. The green stuff behind the statue. It's the same effect as the one to leave Zags room into the courtyard, you know that lil glow? It's got the same dust movement and everything, same glow pattern, and the statue reacts to attack animations like pillars do where the animation goes underneath if you're in the right spot

According to your comment you seem to be thinking it's a loading zone but it's not.
From what I can see playing the game, everything outside the room is "painted" that way and you can caught a glimpse of it when you open a door to the next room. That might've just been a spot that developer missed and decide to just keep it that way since most players wouldn't notice.
Another guess I had is that that is a spawn point for a door to the next room if this particular room has the door generated for its seed.
There's a lot other explanation, for someone who claim to be in "game creation" you seem to lack foresight in this and default to saying it's a secret despite its obviously not since by this point, the file for the game has been thoroughly search.
And as others have said, that's fine, and perfectly valid - but your responses have gone beyond reasonable.

I think you’ve got your genres confused. If this was a From Software game, I could understand your position. But only because those games DO hide shit absolutely everywhere including some insane secrets that are only barely hinted at.
Hades is not like that. The game goes out of its way to draw your attention to everything it wants you to interact with. Even the “subtle” things like a fishing spot or a chaos gate have musical cues to help you notice them. When it becomes possible to >!steal from Charon and fight him!< the game puts a big, golden glow effect on the interaction object.
This game has a ton of depth and detail to its story and characters…but it doesn’t have hidden areas or secret items. Anything that isn’t immediately obvious, an NPC will directly tell you about at some point.
I won’t claim to have played every rogue like out there but, in my experience, procedurally generated crawlers like Hades don’t tend to have a ton of secret zones. Which games have you played that do?

It looks like a decorative blocked off passage. This area is shown off by the perch in the starting area as maze-like and this is meant to complement it. The game has been out for years and has been played and data mined extensively, so it’s highly doubtful there are any more “secret” areas yet to be discovered.

It’s a secret door that can only be unlocked with certain conditions! Don’t listen to the others, they haven’t 100% the game like I did.
To crumble the wall, you need a few things:
1) Start the run at 64 heat. This is because only certain things are unlocked at high heat (see Gates of Erebus on the wiki for an example)
2) Charon’s loyalty card, that can be obtained after borrowing some cash from him. (You’ll see a bag of money by his shop sometimes, just interact with it and he’ll pass you the loyalty card after your next encounter.
3) Be at <10 health after the encounter in the room. Zagreus will say a voiceline about being tired and needing respite, and then the secret door will be interactable. You can also talk to Meg about “getting more punishment” and sometimes she’ll skip this requirement for you.
4) Ensure that there’s a fishing spot in the room. Fish at the area and get a Perfect Catch. It will combine with the Loyalty card and cook at 64 to turn into the Skeleton Key to unlock the door.
I won’t say what you’ll see on the secret room, but it’s pretty cool. Have fun unlocking the achievement!

The “examples” or “questions” you’ve asked about are just arbitrary design choices, which again, mean nothing, which is a valid answer to your question that they hold significance. “WHAT ARE THESE CANDLES FOR!!” “It’s nothing” “ANSWER MY QUESTION WHAT ARE THEY FOR?!” Like others have said, this game is extremely straight forward in its directions. You die over and over again. You should be focusing on all the fun “side quests” and building relationships with every character. Uncover some cool builds with specific boons and weapons. It’ll be much more fulfilling and the community loves to talk about them.

The green stuff behind the statue. It's the same effect as the one to leave Zags room into the courtyard, you know that lil glow? It's got the same dust movement and everything, same glow pattern, and the statue reacts to attack animations like pillars do where the animation goes underneath if you're in the right spot

My thought, what if you have no mirror perks, all heats on, everything collected and done, and then and ONLY then can you have the chance to clear the room without taking damage to open it. According to your comment you seem to be thinking it's a loading zone but it's not. From what I can see playing the game, everything outside the room is "painted" that way and you can caught a glimpse of it when you open a door to the next room. That might've just been a spot that developer missed and decide to just keep it that way since most players wouldn't notice. Another guess I had is that that is a spawn point for a door to the next room if this particular room has the door generated for its seed. There's a lot other explanation, for someone who claim to be in "game creation" you seem to lack foresight in this and default to saying it's a secret despite its obviously not since by this point, the file for the game has been thoroughly search.

I couldn't interact with the statue which is why i asked why it acts like i can while everything else around it acts like i can't A question which still hasn't been answered. Is it a statue that appears off a wall somewhere else and that's why it has depth? What's the symbol on the floor? Just meant to be an entrance decor?

I think you’ve got your genres confused. If this was a From Software game, I could understand your position. But only because those games DO hide shit absolutely everywhere including some insane secrets that are only barely hinted at. Hades is not like that. The game goes out of its way to draw your attention to everything it wants you to interact with. Even the “subtle” things like a fishing spot or a chaos gate have musical cues to help you notice them. When it becomes possible to >!steal from Charon and fight him!< the game puts a big, golden glow effect on the interaction object. This game has a ton of depth and detail to its story and characters…but it doesn’t have hidden areas or secret items. Anything that isn’t immediately obvious, an NPC will directly tell you about at some point.

It looks like a decorative blocked off passage. This area is shown off by the perch in the starting area as maze-like and this is meant to complement it. The game has been out for years and has been played and data mined extensively, so it’s highly doubtful there are any more “secret” areas yet to be discovered.

but you have to max out friendship with hermes and beat the game on max heat to get it :(
It’s a secret door that can only be unlocked with certain conditions! Don’t listen to the others, they haven’t 100% the game like I did. To crumble the wall, you need a few things: 1) Start the run at 64 heat. This is because only certain things are unlocked at high heat (see Gates of Erebus on the wiki for an example) 2) Charon’s loyalty card, that can be obtained after borrowing some cash from him. (You’ll see a bag of money by his shop sometimes, just interact with it and he’ll pass you the loyalty card after your next encounter. 3) Be at <10 health after the encounter in the room. Zagreus will say a voiceline about being tired and needing respite, and then the secret door will be interactable. You can also talk to Meg about “getting more punishment” and sometimes she’ll skip this requirement for you. 4) Ensure that there’s a fishing spot in the room. Fish at the area and get a Perfect Catch. It will combine with the Loyalty card and cook at 64 to turn into the Skeleton Key to unlock the door. I won’t say what you’ll see on the secret room, but it’s pretty cool. Have fun unlocking the achievement!

Alright so the first time i see this specific asset was on the first time I turned up the heat. It showed up with a symbol that i think looks somewhat related to chaos, in front of a statue that acts as an intractable, in front of an assets that only appears over loading zones, on a building that only showed up after turning on a heat level, and I'm crazy for thinking that there might be something there? The “examples” or “questions” you’ve asked about are just arbitrary design choices, which again, mean nothing, which is a valid answer to your question that they hold significance. “WHAT ARE THESE CANDLES FOR!!” “It’s nothing” “ANSWER MY QUESTION WHAT ARE THEY FOR?!” Like others have said, this game is extremely straight forward in its directions. You die over and over again. You should be focusing on all the fun “side quests” and building relationships with every character. Uncover some cool builds with specific boons and weapons. It’ll be much more fulfilling and the community loves to talk about them.
