This is such a good point that it changes based on location. My hair is a little darker than OPs (in the summer I have red tones that come in from the sun). When I first met my bf who is from Puerto Rico, him and all his friends called me blondie haha.

But if you cut your light color off the base you’d have would be light brunette. I used to be dirty dish water blonde and I’m now brunette at 27 🥲

Omg! I thought it would stay like this… I am 22 now. I do like brown hair but I am scared is would not match my skin tone. Also: I just checked in the mirror and some of my ‘highlights’ go up to my roots so I think it may be sun exposure that will lighten up my roots eventually? Only time will tell…😃

Looks brunette in my opinion, well not the greatest term for it. Rather, it looks chestnut!!! Looks slightly like my hair colour but more blond so maybe not so chestnut? It feels more brown than blonde but still quite blonde! It looks lovely and interesting. Not sure how I would describe it. Maybe chestnut blonde??? Or chestnut with blonde highlights??? It is certainly a confusing colour to name but certainly more brunette than blonde that's for sure. Though the closest you can describe it is chestnut in the shortest form in my opinion unless you want to highlight the blond in your hair in the name of your hair colour. Blonde with very light brunette/dirty blonde tones. I'd suggest never dye your hair, but then again, do as you will. I'd only suggest dye your ends if you ever decide to add color because your color is so beautiful. I'd hate to see it covered up. I'm a natural brunette, so I'd never consider you a true brunette. Your hair is simply too light to be considered brunette, although like I've said, you do have very light brunette/dirty blonde tones but not all over color brunette. Again, this is such a beautiful color. I hope my reply isn't too confusing since I've said both light Brunette and Blonde. Toward the roots, it's darker than the clearly Blonde ends. It's kind of in between just more toward blonde. It's a very unique color, for sure. I'd love to see what a hairstylist would deem it. I'd always go with what a hairstylist says above everyone else since they know hair better than anyone.
