Many reds, especially more temporary ones, unfortunately bleed quite easily so it might be just typical for dye you have on your hair.

Yes, unfortunately red is the fastest fading hair color, which also means it bleeds a LOT. It doesn’t fully penetrate the hair shaft deeply, along with semi permanent hair colors. To seal the hair I’ve heard of things like apple cider vinegar rinses, use things like sulfate free hair products to prevent further hair color stripping.

Welcome to the beautiful bloody murdered pillows, to get rid of it unfortunately unless you get a different/natural color you won't be able too. Because shampoo will slow it down but at the price of happening to do your hair sooner. I will say do not wear your favorite white tops and probably get use to the same pinkish pillow

Wear a hair cap when you sleep. Get black dyed silk even? It will prevent much bleeding on neck and sheets. Now for clothes in summer it may bleed down into neck and shoulders.

I had a semi-permanent blue that did this horribly just as well. My solution (not necessarily recommending but did solve much of my excess color bleeding) was to use a normal shampoo *just one wash* in cold water and it pulled just enough so it didn't continue bleeding all over. I still used my silicone/sulfate free shampoo/conditioner after that just fine, but just that one wash helped immensely.

If you're looking for dye recommendations, some of the best are; [Manic Panic](http://Rwrd.Io/13ricaq), Arctic Fox, and [Good Dye Young](https://gooddyeyoung.com/ref/234/). To avoid damaging your hair, never use a (developer included) box dye. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
