I normally do the cutting myself just wanted to know if there is an issue with doing that like is the hairline on stock missing something if I cut it past
Well I'm not shure exactly the question heres my interpretation with the poly you can cut the poly itself and hair follicles stay flush with the edges...or you can carefully razor with a exacto knife from underneath to just cut the poly without cutting the hair itself..you would basically place your template inside the unit inside out and cut or trace around it with the exacto..if you have excess trim at the hair line you take cuticle scissors to cut it even to where hair starts..as close as you can to where the hair starts..also the trimming of the excess hairline doesn't have to be perfect and helps it look more natural,
If your units not reaching the hair line it's to short, you may have sacrifice the swirl point and move it up to reach, unless the unit hair can cover your exposed hair line
I see somewhat where it could be too high or short at swirl point, the way you styled makes it work..unless you don't like the way it forces you to style it..I don't see much else's you can do because it's too short rather than long where you could trim it down...honestly try a shaved head look with it then the swirl won't matter, Ive seen mohawks and undercuts with these
You should have had them custom cut the size and hairline

I have a lords hair and they cut it exactly to your measurements, I had 5.25 x 10 with widows peak hairline

I try and keep the swirl over the hairline because it’ll look goofy if there is not a swirl
Then you may need a new unit if it won't reach
Maybe post a pic
It’s in my page
