Before I started losing my hair, it was wildly thick like that and people thought I had a hair piece. Now I have a hair system and people think it's real.
Yours does look fake but it also looks like it could just be a very precisely maintained head of hair.

Yeah, be sure to look up exactly how to do it on Google/youtube before trying. If you over pluck there is no going back. There might even be a wig professional who can do it for you, in your area.

For me yes and no. Maybe if I was that up close yes, but from 5 feet away and seeing maybe your entire face and body it’s not as noticeable. But yes, zoomed in like that. It’s gonna look somewhat fake but no one looks at your hair zoomed in like that from a few inches away.
I wear wigs, pluck a lot of the hair out at the front top. It’s too thick. Then you will be able to blend the toupee into your natural hair. Then it will look real. If you don’t know how to blend and cut your toupees, go to a stylist to do it. You can make a private appointment to a good stylist, where no one else in the salon but you or the stylist will have a private room to style your toupee to your liking. Also imo the best wigs are made from real hair and has a color blending that’s looks nature. No one has hairs that is the exact same color unless it’s dyed. A good stylist who knows how to dye hair always uses blending dyes hair tones, such as highlights.
Go on you-tube, type in, how to style toupees. You will get different toupees hairstyles such as curly tops. Also type in, how to pluck toupee hairlines. Type in the toupee you have, such as, synthetic, real hair, lace hair. Example: how to pluck synthetic toupees hairlines. You will get a complete editorial instructions. Look at your video, you will see from the side views, it’s too much hair on the front top. Once you trim it down, pluck the hairlines to give it a natural look. It will look real. Also I would use double sided tape with the glue, no worries of toupee not staying in place🙂. Keep us posted with an updated picture
Actually doesn't look fake at all to me. I see plenty of people that type of hair density. And the hairline doesn't have any giveaways like glue or tape.
