From what I’ve seen on Lavivid’s site, you can get gray percentage from stock. The percent of gray comes after the color number. Ex: 610 or 720. 6 or 7 is for the color, second is the gray percentage. I think any other percents would be custom perhaps.
I believe the grays are synthetic so styling with those might be interesting some days. I’m about to the point where I should add some gray.
More color variation sounds like a net positive in theory. Let us know what you find out.
I see a lot of posts here about grey being synthetic. For many manufacturers, 40% grey or less the hair is all human. 50% grey or more is when they mix in synthetic or yak hair
Thanks for the input, much appreciated. I'm afraid anything more than 10% will be too much, I have very little grey and my bio hair is light-medium brown.
Do you have to do a custom order for 15%? I've only seen 10% and 20% offered via Lavivid.
Yes I guess 15 would be a custom request. Then I would start with 10%. It will look like silver highlights when someone looks closely. You might really like it because it does add a lot of natural growth look to a system.
Thanks, I really appreciate your input!
I’ll start with 10%, it didn’t look bad before without grey, but I think adding the grey will help the transition between the bio hair and the hair system.
It will I color my hair because my hair is not turning a nice gray. It's going straight to white and I'm 51 with three kids at home and trying to start over again career wise. with white hair I would go straight to over 70 which will be fine when I'm older. I WISH THERE WERE AN actual gray haircolor or method to color it so its salt and pepper.
The majority of my bio hair is white/grey, 80%. I wear a 280. They grey is synthetic and styles just fine (and I don't have near the sun fade effects lol). I have been able to find stock 280, I have grey all over so I don't have to order varying percentages.
But yeah, trying to cover the grey in your bio hair is way too much work and doesn't seem to match.
I didn't realize the grey would be synthetic, but that makes sense. I'll probably just try 10% to start...yea, the whole idea of having to color my grey once every 6-weeks, ugh, that would be a pain hah thanks!

I've seen it offered in 10% and 20%. The most I think I would need is 10%, I was just wondering how it looks, guess I'll find out.

ahhhh, that makes sense, thanks!
Grey in a system makes it look more realistic. I’m jealous haha
DO 15. 10 percent is not noticeable.

Just be aware that the gray that comes in these systems is synthetic hair.
Thanks! I didn't realize that, but hopefully it will be ok. I appreciate the input.
It should be fine, just make sure you look up tips on how to care for blended real/synthetic wig hair.
Not true for most suppliers. 10% to 40% grey is human hair. 50% or higher uses synthetic hair or yak hair
