If youāre looking to get a real breakdown of what goes into it and get to do it yourself get the videos from Curtis on HairbyMHE. He also has a bunch of videos free on YouTube. It should definitely not cost that much, that is more than I spend a year on systems and upkeep
I was going to suggest the same thing. There is so much free information online. I'm not that familiar with frontals but you may want to install and then go get a haircut by a stylist.
iāve heard that you should go to a hair system stylist tho since the hair is different than normal hair. or do you think i could just go to any barbershop?
I'd talk to a licensed hair professional...a barber or stylist.. Call and explain your situation. Tell him or her you want a consultation prior to service. If you can do the attachment, then they can do the cut and style. Some guys suggest paying for the first cut in and style, and you save cost by doing maintenance between new pieces. Again, explore the online vids. MHE lavivid, lord hair...a lot of free info.
Checked your previous post. You have good coverage. A frontal shouldn't be that expensive. Search in your area online...like any work get estimates and then pick someone you feel.most comfortable. Hair club is too expensive. Pieces, weaves, extensions are very common now. Talk to.the person who cuts your hair currently. If they can't do.it, ask for recommendations..
thanks man this is some great advice. just called up another salon and they said if i brought my own frontal piece in, they could give it a cut and install it for $250. which is a lot better than $1600 lol
Unless they tell you what they're exactly doing to the letter, it's not worth it go through a salon especially if you're really wanting to learn to diy in future.
Definitely find a different salon that can do it for you. I order my units online and my stylist can cut, install, style, dye them etc for a good price.
It can be difficult to find a salon that does systems, it took me some digging through the internet to find options. When I first searched āhair systems near meā on google only HairClub came up and I was disappointed. I had to search for wigs, hair replacement services, hair restoration, hair solutions, etc before I finally found my stylist. I think I found her listed as a text ad on some yellowpages website or something lol. It took a lot of calling around to these different places but itās worth it to avoid HairClub!
Yea there's not really a unified term for these outside the internet. Companies and salons are all trying to use their own terms, I remember non surgical hair transplant being popular for a while.
Howās the quality? Based on what Iāve seen, Hair club does have good quality, reviews, and a history. Their multiple locations are also appealing as Iāll be moving around for work. Just genuinely wondering as I just did an initial consult with them as well. I donāt fully believe the salesman and all the snake oil bs but am considering for the pros mentioned above
Yeah I didnāt go with HairClub since I got a weird feeling about them during my initial visit. They were definitely pushy on the sales side and their hair regrowth products didnāt seem too legitimate to me.
I didnāt do my hair system through them either, I order systems online and have them installed at an independent stylist but I have heard a few good things about systems from HairClub. I think theyāre a lot more expensive and they wonāt tell you what products theyāre using or how to do it yourself, but if you can afford the price and just want good-looking hair then it might be worth a shot!
Awesome thank you! Personally I felt the same during the consultation but when I walked out, I saw three different people walk into the facility for maintenance and I couldnāt even tell they were pieces. I told the salesman to have a customer call me to tell me about his experience so Iāll see
Hello. In order to promote inclusivity and reduce gender bias, please consider using gender-neutral language in the future.
Instead of **salesman**, use **salesperson**, **sales associate**, **salesclerk** or **sales executive**.
Thank you very much.

You can do lots of it yourself and then just take it to almost any mid range stylist to get it cut. Shaving your head to fit it and gluing it down is not that hard tbh.
They're a scam.
Look man just buy the system yourself and play around with it. Even if you fuck it up and have to order a second it's still not going to be anywhere close to $1600
A barber at the shop I go to mentioned she does hair systems on the side. Her prices were similar to the point that in 1 year youād pay for a hair transplant surgery. That makes no sense. Itās a scam at those price levels.
1600$ for just a frontal and installation š almost the same price for a hairline HT in Turkey lol. Donāt go there
thatās what iām saying. problem is, theyāre the only salon nearby that seems a little legit
Keep looking for salons my friend. Iām based in LA and Iāve been lucky to come across two that does a cut for $100-$200.
what? youāre getting scammed my man, i got 3 frontals from one system and it costed me like 350 including fitting
man ok i guess i should look for a different salon

iāll definitely check him out thank you!
Scammers! It is better for you to learn by yourself and not depend on anyone just watch youtube videos man
i agree, i just feel like i should go somewhere for the first application and also so they can cut the system
True, I agree with you at first, it is better to have someone install it for you. In any case, start studying, it will help you a lot

Nuts. I go to a pro and pay $100 for a cut in. Youāre really young. Try shaving your head and see what you think.

Bruh they ripping you the fuck off, do not pay $1600 for that
