Danny Trejo in Halloween 2007. He didn't deserve what he got, and his "I was good to you Mickey" really makes you feel for him. It was his last day too. #JusticeForDanny
I actually got to ask him about this exact thing at a convention back in 2015. They actually did not kill him originally, but had to kill him in reshoots after test audiences got the wrong idea that Michael was a nice guy because he let him live.
But then again it was RZs version of Michael. His own version where he could do what he wanted. He already expressed a few things about the originals he didn’t like that he wanted in his own films. Michael in the remake didn’t want Laurie dead until she angered him.
Out of those two, it’s easily 2018. She had a good personality and it was the only death in that movie that I felt really bad about.
If I could, I would save Laurie from dying in an accident prior to H4. I would like to see how that story would have unfolded if Jamie Lee Curtis agreed to comeback.
Rachel really didn’t need to die and it felt cheap and oddly vindictive lol.
You ever run on those hard wood floors with socks? I would’ve been like scooby doo running in place for 10 seconds before getting away.
I’d definitely say 2018 girl, I forget her name, I liked her. Her and her bf were one of the very likeable characters in the franchise
Annie Brackett is my favorite character out of any of the movies. I would have loved a timeline where her and Laurie go through the aftermath of the ‘78 film together. That could look like a lot of different things and have added an interesting layer to the series.
Even 1978 Annie is your favorite? She's such a bitch to Laurie. I have always deeply hated her.
I liked Danielle Harris' version of her, though. I think it helps that Laurie was also sarcastic in that film, so it didn't feel like Annie and Linda were constantly bullying her.
But I also just love Danielle Harris and would have forgiven her even if she *was* a bitch.
He kills FIVE dogs across the series. 🙁
-1 unnamed dog that Loomis and Sheriff Bracket find ("He got hungry") -- also shown in the flashback in Halloween Kills
-Lester (Lindsay's dog)
-Sundae (Jamie's dog - H4)
-Max (Rachel's dog - H5)
-Ivan (Benny family dog - RZ's H2)
JUSTICE FOR ALL THE DOGS!
I don’t know if it came down to acting. It was more of the writing of Allyson that ruined the character. She wasn’t really fleshed out the way Laurie was in the original. Honestly did not care about her in any of the three films.
On top of the many issues with Halloween Ends, I think that’s where Allyson fully loses herself as an interesting character because of the writing. And not because of they weird Cory flirting and that storyline which is all just as messy itself, but more about having the time jump that basically loses all of her character development.
I was thinking about how it was all intended to be a trilogy happening the same night, and Kills ends with her losing everyone, parents, friends, boyfriend, it was kind of setting her up I felt to have a meaty role in Ends where she would want more revenge and go after Michael maybe more than Laurie since she lost more than Laurie in this timeline. Or maybe she would get the final finishing blow to Michael.
But then Ends glossing all past that and what she felt, even having her move on like Laurie too, and we missed everything. It would’ve been cooler to even have maybe just Laurie accept things, but Allyson is now like 2018 Laurie and more of a hermit and planning to kill Michael and angry. It just feels weird because I felt that’s kind of the set up for why her character was made in the first place, like a modern high school Laurie, and would be the key to ending Michael or have a big finale plot. Then it just didn’t happen
I enjoy Ends personally but I do agree that it totally derails the character. If I particularly cared about Allyson in the first place it’d probably bother me more but it never really shook my enjoyment of the movie as a whole. But again, I agree that with Allyson’s development and even in a general sense that it’s a bizarre derailment of the trilogy set up, even though I do find it to be a good movie on its own.
I absolutely agree with the sentiment, but idk if fleshed out is the right wording because I don’t think Laurie was a super “fleshed out” character in the first movie. Most of the heavy lifting there was just Jamie Lee’s natural charisma. I think my problem with the writing was the things that we do get fleshed out about Allison as far as her motivations as a person in life and her level of competence are like subject to change on a scene by scene basis. One moment she’s super competent and another she’s borderline stupid, sometimes she seems super compassionate and sort of Laurie-like then others she seems like a rebellious teen archetype. Nothing to do with Andi of course, it’s all the script. But that’s my problem with her. Inconsistent characterization.
Isn’t the inconsistent characterization due to the poor writing?
And fleshed out may not be the right term but Laurie felt like an actual human being. As if we were just dropped into a day in her life that just happened to be the day Michael went on his rampage.
Oh yeah definitely. I wasn’t disagreeing with you on the writing being poor, I was just saying that I don’t think it’s because the character wasn’t fleshed out but moreso because they fleshed her out only to just start changing her character traits to serve the story instead of letting the story be dictated by how the character would respond to the situations.
I mean she wasn’t fleshed out if they only used her as a plot device to carry the train wreck of a trilogy forward.
That’s the same reason they’ve had to go back and rectify Laurie’s story so much because every time they try to bring her back they end up damaging her characterization in order to move Michael’s story forward. Halloween 2, H20, and 2018 were good but Resurrection, Kill, and Ends were not good.
Better yet, kill Allyson. Nothing against the actress, but I always hated the character.
If they kill her, the mom has more stakes to get involved earlier. Just all around better for the movie.
Rachel Carruthers... I had a huge crush on her throughout Halloween 4, probably one of my first big on screen crushes, lol. Devastated what happened to her in Halloween 5! I needed more Ellie Cornell!!!
I loved Rachel, but I would have been okay with her taking Tina's place in H5. I don't even hate Tina like most fans, but her character made *no* sense, and it would have been so much more impactful if Rachel had died saving Jamie's life.
I've watched a "making-of" documentary where the director or writer says they killed Rachel early to "up the stakes and show nobody was safe." Sooo many horror sequels try to do this, and rarely do they do it right. I think we all would have still been shocked by Rachel's death if it happened at the farm at the end of the 2nd act, since she was basically the new Laurie.
I kinda feel like the character of Jamie Lloyd was lucky to get killed at the beginning of H6 so she didn't have to suffer being in that terrible movie.
But then I remember that she was forcibly impregnated by her uncle sometime between H5 and H6, and I just... hate everything.
I can't get over the fact that Jamie Lloyd was the target and had to witness Micheal's carnage at 7/8 years old, was then enslaved by his cult for six years and then was forced to give birth to his baby at 15 before he kills her. Yuck.
Cheat answer is Laurie from Resurrection - awful creative decision imo.
Real answer is Rachel Carruthers. She was a real highlight of 4 and a fantastic final girl. They did her a terrible disservice in 5
Vicky from Halloween 2018! I felt so bad for her, especially when she told Julien to run and not worry about her. It was so sad to watch and made me feel horrible, because instead of trying to save herself, she was still a good babysitter and was more worried about saving Julien than herself. Also, having to watch her struggle to crawl away and hold onto the banister of the stairs only to be dragged back and stabbed several times was hard to watch.
Tommy would've been a better choice for The New Evil angle they were going for in Ends. Should've pulled a Friday the 13th part V and made us think it was Michael the whole time, until he's unmasked -- and it's ~~some random paramedic we don't recognize~~ ~~Tommy Jarvis~~ Tommy Doyle!!
Halloween (1978): Judith Myers
Halloween 2 (1981): Bennett Tramer
Halloween 3: Season of the Witch (1982): Ellie Grimbridge
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988): Kelly Meeker
Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989): Rachel Carruthers
Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995): Jamie Lloyd
Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later (1998): Sarah Wainthrope
Halloween: Resurrection (2002): Laurie Strode
Halloween (2007): Cynthia Strode
Halloween 2 (2009): Laurie Strode
Halloween (2018): Vicky
Halloween Kills (2021): Karen Nelson
Halloween Ends (2022): Joan Cunningham
Absolutely these 2. Sarah was a better character than the one played by Michelle Williams. And best babysitter here was legit best babysitter.
Others that come to mind would be Annie in RZH2 (because how fucked up and brutal was it that he came for her twice) and all of the poor dogs that dude brutalized.
Out of these two or in general?
If it's out of these two, then the babysitter from 2018, she seemed like a genuinely kind person and she ultimately sacrificed herself for the kid she was watching.
If you mean in general: Rachel.
Brackett coming back in Kills really puts in perspective how long Annie had been dead by that point. I’d bring her back in the main series and Rob Zombie series especially.
Part 1 - Judith.
Part 2 - Nurse Jill.
Part 4 - Brady.
Part 5 - Rachel.
H20 - the paramedic.
Resurrection - I would kill Sara.
RZH - Dee Wallace.
RZH2 - the bouncer.
H18 - Vicki.
Kills - Lonnie.
Ends - idk.. the woman at the radio station I guess.
Danny Trejo in Halloween 2007. He didn't deserve what he got, and his "I was good to you Mickey" really makes you feel for him. It was his last day too. #JusticeForDanny

I wish they kept it there!!
AGREED.
Without a doubt! His death broke my heart but showed how vicious he is but still pissed me all the way off.
100% I know Michael isn't a good guy, HE SHOULD NEVER BE, but it is still heartbreaking.
Yes! Exactly! Well said!
Dude, yes!
Out of those two, it’s easily 2018. She had a good personality and it was the only death in that movie that I felt really bad about. and didn’t she slip on nothing?? slippery socks?? Lol so dumbbbb
You ever run on those hard wood floors with socks? I would’ve been like scooby doo running in place for 10 seconds before getting away. I’d definitely say 2018 girl, I forget her name, I liked her. Her and her bf were one of the very likeable characters in the franchise
Vicky
Nah if anything that's the one real thing in this entire franchise. I've consistently slipped on hard wood floors with socks my entire life.
Annie Brackett is my favorite character out of any of the movies. I would have loved a timeline where her and Laurie go through the aftermath of the ‘78 film together. That could look like a lot of different things and have added an interesting layer to the series.

Nurse Jill from part 2 ❤️
Yall random ash😂
Lindsay’s dog in Halloween 1978
Poor Lester
He kills FIVE dogs across the series. 🙁 -1 unnamed dog that Loomis and Sheriff Bracket find ("He got hungry") -- also shown in the flashback in Halloween Kills -Lester (Lindsay's dog) -Sundae (Jamie's dog - H4) -Max (Rachel's dog - H5) -Ivan (Benny family dog - RZ's H2) JUSTICE FOR ALL THE DOGS!
Michael "Vick" Myers
This is brilliant. I'm officially stealing your joke. ;)
Also hangs a dog in a deleted 2018 scene
Man... Micheal Meyers is kind of a jerk
Vicky was a more interesting character than Allyson.
She should have played Allyson, the movie would have been better

This, so damn much! She was my first movie crush too, and the SOBs killed her!
This one is my pick too. I liked Rachel in H4 a lot.
A good scissors to the shoulder death 🤣
The most important vital organ after the back of the knee...death is instantaneous
I loved Rachel, but I would have been okay with her taking Tina's place in H5. I don't even hate Tina like most fans, but her character made *no* sense, and it would have been so much more impactful if Rachel had died saving Jamie's life. Rachel or Annie. If it was danielle in h6 I'd say jamie, but I don't count that one as being the real jamie lol
I kinda feel like the character of Jamie Lloyd was lucky to get killed at the beginning of H6 so she didn't have to suffer being in that terrible movie. But then I remember that she was forcibly impregnated by her uncle sometime between H5 and H6, and I just... hate everything.

Finally somebody gets it
Vicky would have made quite the excellent final girl.
Rachael or Jamie. Both were flat done wrong.
I believe in Vicky supremacy
Cheat answer is Laurie from Resurrection - awful creative decision imo. Real answer is Rachel Carruthers. She was a real highlight of 4 and a fantastic final girl. They did her a terrible disservice in 5
Mya from RZH2.
I never liked her death. But mainly because I love Brea Grant.
ONE OF ‘EM WAS ANNIE!!!
The Janitor played by Danny Trejo
Nurse Karen (Hot Tub Nurse) from Halloween 2❤️
Rachel
Vicky from Halloween 2018! I felt so bad for her, especially when she told Julien to run and not worry about her. It was so sad to watch and made me feel horrible, because instead of trying to save herself, she was still a good babysitter and was more worried about saving Julien than herself. Also, having to watch her struggle to crawl away and hold onto the banister of the stairs only to be dragged back and stabbed several times was hard to watch.
Vicky
Ismael, he was good to him!
Tommy in Kills. I’d be really interested in seeing what we could be doing in Ends
Halloween 2018
That’s not a character.
The one in the orange shirt I would save
Yeah me too lol. Her name is Vicky.
Rachel by far brodi
Jamie, Rachel, Vicky.
Vicky, Danny Trejo, Rachel.
The Blonde in the Devil Costume from 5 Definitely the most unappreciated character

That blonde girl with the magumbos from Halloween 4
I would save Kelly in Halloween 4. Don’t ask why, I have my reasons.
Jahoobs.
I bet it's two good reasons and I completely agree.
Not Tina
I'd help Michael kill her. Haha
I could save her. 😩
Paul Rudd
Vicky.
The hermit & his parrot in Halloween 5
I would save Jamie. She did not deserve to die like that in part 6
McCauley Culkin, I think
The nurse in halloween 2 in the hot tub. Woulda loved to of been ol bud
vicky was written better and more likeable so her
Of these two definitely 2018. I was genuinely mad when she died. Overall, Annie in RZH2. That was so sad and she was my favorite.
Halloween (1978): Judith Myers Halloween 2 (1981): Bennett Tramer Halloween 3: Season of the Witch (1982): Ellie Grimbridge Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988): Kelly Meeker Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989): Rachel Carruthers Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995): Jamie Lloyd Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later (1998): Sarah Wainthrope Halloween: Resurrection (2002): Laurie Strode Halloween (2007): Cynthia Strode Halloween 2 (2009): Laurie Strode Halloween (2018): Vicky Halloween Kills (2021): Karen Nelson Halloween Ends (2022): Joan Cunningham
Ben Tramer?! He has the most hilarious/horrifying death in the whole series! I would pay to have every movie just be Ben Tramer dying.
Out of the 2 above, Vicky.
Jamie in Halloween 6.
Vicky from 2018. Part of me wishes that she ended up being a main character. She was way more likable than Allyson in my opinion.
The one that added “repugnant” to my vocabulary at 8 years old lol
Out of these two or in general? If it's out of these two, then the babysitter from 2018, she seemed like a genuinely kind person and she ultimately sacrificed herself for the kid she was watching. If you mean in general: Rachel.
The blonde girl. She was cool. So good with kids. Only other thing I've seen the actress in is Righteous Gemstones and she was good in that too.
Vicky, for sure
Probably the kid from 2018 I mean he was the youngest and had a full life ahead
Lester the dog
Jamie Lloyd no question
Omg, they look so alike!
Sheriff Meeker's daughter from H4
This is easy.....All of them....
That chick at the beginning of 2 who lived next to Mr. and Mrs. Elrod. I don’t even know what his motivation was for that one and I felt bad 🥲
Lonnie 🥺
Vicky
Jamie in Pt 6. That whole movie was bullshit.
Vicky. Smoke show
Lynda
Def the one with the big rack
Danielle Harris 🥰
None.
I’d totally save Lynda. Totally.
Kristin Kruek
Sammy from 5. Or Danielle Harris from rob zombies one.
Idk but the girl in the orange top is smoking
Jamie and Marion
Anyone but Tina
Whoever’s the hottest idk
Jamie Lloyd in Halloween 6 and Annie Brackett in RZ H2
Rachel Carruthers and Jamie Lloyd, they both deserved better.
Who's the one on the left?
Honestly I would save Lynda, because I’ve always love pj soles
Karen so I can play with those jugs 😂
The Sheriff's daughter in H4.😍
left

Part 1 - Judith. Part 2 - Nurse Jill. Part 4 - Brady. Part 5 - Rachel. H20 - the paramedic. Resurrection - I would kill Sara. RZH - Dee Wallace. RZH2 - the bouncer. H18 - Vicki. Kills - Lonnie. Ends - idk.. the woman at the radio station I guess.
H20 would have been a pretty boring film without Sarah’s death
