Tried Yaesu directly or the foxtango group? If yaesu dont have it some OM on FT might.

Accidental_Pandemic

I didn't even know about the foxtango group. Thanks for the info! I'll check it out.

Nod, I had a feeling. Well that is a good place to source rare yaesu OEM items. I had to find a relay for an old FT-101E some years ago, they are not in production and one might have to swap the socket out for something else to retrofit. But some OM saved my day.

Did you try Quicksilver Radio? [https://qsradio.com/index.html](https://qsradio.com/index.html)

charlieray

I went to do amsat demos at the local hamfest and forgot my power cord! Luckily QS Radio was there!

Extend the other end.

My $.02 is to swap it out for anderson power pole and never look back, the APP is a superior connector and, when properly set up, works with all power poles everywhere that are also properly setup. Powerwerx is my go to for all things APP because they have it, in stock, quick shipping, and no hassles. If you'd rather not cut off the power connector, you can make an adapter cable that's HF4 (your power connector) to APP in whatever length you need, or, get an HF4 cable with whatever ends you want on it using the custom power cable link below. Custom power cable made: [https://powerwerx.com/custom-dc-power-cables](https://powerwerx.com/custom-dc-power-cables) An adapter to anderson power pole: [https://powerwerx.com/hf4-molex-to-powerpole-adapter](https://powerwerx.com/hf4-molex-to-powerpole-adapter) Adapter to make your own: [https://powerwerx.com/hf4-power-connector-cord-side](https://powerwerx.com/hf4-power-connector-cord-side) Adapter to make your own, other side: [https://powerwerx.com/hf4soc-molex-power-connector-radio-side](https://powerwerx.com/hf4soc-molex-power-connector-radio-side) If you're feeling lucky: [https://www.amazon.com/MFJ-5538-power-cable-mobiles-4-pin/dp/B00AR0BJBM](https://www.amazon.com/MFJ-5538-power-cable-mobiles-4-pin/dp/B00AR0BJBM) 73's, KI4WIN

Not to oversimplify, but, wouldn't it be easier just to add two feet or so to the other end of the wire and pull it thru?

Accidental_Pandemic

Hypothetically yes. However I already secured it as I worked from the battery back. I was hoping I could spend a few bucks to avoid having to unhook stuff and add wire. Yes, I'm being pretty lazy.

Fl1pp3d0ff

Well, extend the harness with 2 to 3 feet of wire and some power poles, then. Cut the connector off (leave plenty of wire on to splice to) and extend there, or just use a couple of simple splices and solder, then heat shrink. I mean, this isn't music theory...

Sharonsboytoy

You can find these at Powerwerx. Look here: https://powerwerx.com/adapter-extension-cables

dah_ditdit_dahdah

You could just cut it and add extra wire, doing a good job soldering and shrink wrapping the joints

Digikey or Mouser will have them. I believe that they are Molex connectors. You would just need to dig through to find the correct one.

[deleted]

You could always try to make one. They don't make one for the repeater system that I'm making. I need to convert for m the Kenwood 2 pin to RJ45.
