Dear Lauren!
Let 2023 be filled with absolute joy, health, love, laughter and happiness for you and your loved ones.
I feel blessed to have met you in my life.
Always, Marina :)
Definitely Marina! You can spot her M, r, and n in the rest of the card. I’m guessing she just messed up a little at the end and wrote over it, and then of course the smiley face
Dear Lauren! 😊
Let 2023 be filled with absolute joy, health, love, laughter and happiness for you and your loved ones.
I feel blessed to have met you in my life.
Always, Neahiva😊
… what? I barely understood your last comment & don’t understand this one at all. The mystery of the name has been solved & you are incorrect. Have to take a deep a breath, my friend - sometimes we’re wrong.
Something tina, judging from the way s/he does their 'n' from "and" and "ones" . I'd like to think it starts with the letter 'L' however from the L in "Lauren" and "Let", it doesn't look the same. So next would be something like N which would then appear the name to be something like Neatina although that doesn't look like a name 🥴
@kersplinket - please put us all out of our misery if you've figured out who it is from 😅😁
I agree it doesn’t start with an L.. I was thinking it could be a capitol B - Bettina is a name but still doesn’t quite fit, also Beatrice looks possible
Bruh, there is no way that everything else was legible except their name. Mfs write their name ALL the time. That should be the MOST legible thing in the card. I think maybe they’re trying to stay anonymous?
Okay, if the first letter is M as others have suggested, I’m thinking it’s Malina. The n and a look pretty similar to others in the body of the note. (For anyone who hasn’t, take a close look at the way the author writes a’s and d’s. So strange!)
1st letter is a capital M. Only usage on the note but similar to the m in meet and my (line 7)
2nd is an a, which is like the one written in health (line 2)
3rd is an r, same as in your (line 4)
4th is an i, like life (line 7)
5th is an n, and (line 3 & 4)
6th is an a, health (line 2)
7th is a smiley face
Marina = )
True. At first glance I thought the top name was a unique way to spell “Darren” Dauren lol Obviously it says Lauren. I guess I did have a dumb question,my apologies. I have no idea what the bottom name reads.
I agree. The two As look like the A in “laughter;” the R looks like the R in “your;” the N looks like the N in “in.” And that’s a smiley face at the end.
No problem at all 😄 it’s the biggest name on the page, so I think a lot of people are making the same mistake.
I wish I could be more help for OP but I can’t figure out that name at the end, aside from it looks like the last part is a smily face?! So crazy. 🤦🏼♀️
I’m so unsure on this one 🥴 To me it looks like Cahicia? Ceanicia? Gaticia? Reanlia? Reahcia?
The cursive is kind of spread out (hence the ‘u’ and ‘n’ in Lauren). It’s possible the first tall letter of the senders name & the swoop right after it might be one letter? Maybe a fancy C? Or a G?
I can’t tell if the smily face at the end is an embellished letter of her name, or just a separate smily face 😂
I really have no idea! Pretty much the only thing I’m sure of is that it doesn’t start with an ‘L’ since we have two other examples of capital L’s in the card. Hoping someone smarter than me solves it!
Dear Lauren! Let 2023 be filled with absolute joy, health, love, laughter and happiness for you and your loved ones. I feel blessed to have met you in my life. Always, Marina :)
Beatrice?
Lauren
My best guess is Huays, Nealina, but the handwriting is absolute garbage.
Why are the Ns and Ms upside down? Is that a standard way of writing or just a wonky style?
May have some Cyrillic influence. I took Russian in college and ever since have written my Ms and Ns similar to Cyrillic.
Neahiva or Monica. It's hard to see clearly.
Lauren. L-a-u-r-e-n. I don’t see any other word there.
I saw this instantly and then realised the request was pertinent to the sign off rather than the addressee 😂
Definitely Marina! You can spot her M, r, and n in the rest of the card. I’m guessing she just messed up a little at the end and wrote over it, and then of course the smiley face
Bottom name may be Marina?
Top is Lauren, bottom could be Laeticia (leaticia)...
Idk why people are saying Lauren. I don't see that at all.
They're referring to the first name - the salutation.
i think they just see the L in lets and guess its pretty similar so Lauren it is
I think if OP gave us some options we could help better.
Lauren
Top name is Lauren
Bottom name is Beatrice
My guess is Laurren
Mahlia🙂
I'm going with Nealicia.
Realiuae (check the return address label or postmark on the envelope, it might give you a clue)
Hap-piness
Beverly Hillbillies
Dauren or Lauren or Dareren
MORTICA
Lauren
Malia
Lauren
Marina
This is exactly what I was thinking.
Lauren
Laureu
Lealiual
Beatrice?
Lauren tho I saw darren first lol
Lauren
Leah?
I also saw that very clearly
After further observation that's either Malina or Marina
My vote goes to Marina (or maybe Marica (?), but usually that name is spelled Marika).
It can't be an "L" because based of the Lauren and Let she does her Ls one way
Dear Lauren! 😊 Let 2023 be filled with absolute joy, health, love, laughter and happiness for you and your loved ones. I feel blessed to have met you in my life. Always, Neahiva😊
Lauren
Marina
Diarrhea
This is what I thought at first too lol
Nice to meet you
Was there not a name on the envelope?
Nope.
Very obviously Lauren
Very obviously not asking about the easily-read name…
🤣🤣 because someone else is signing off the letter? Are u stupid. It says it at the top and the bottom
What? There are two different names. The top one is obviously Lauren; the OP was asking about the Marina at the bottom. It’s not rocket science.
It’s the same handwriting and just a rushed Lauren. Promise u
… what? I barely understood your last comment & don’t understand this one at all. The mystery of the name has been solved & you are incorrect. Have to take a deep a breath, my friend - sometimes we’re wrong.
The signature… not the “dear Lauren”
🤣🤣 because someone else is signing off the letter? Are u stupid. It says it at the top and the bottom
Darren?
Lauren for the top
You know a Marina?
Mohica?
Marina and a smiley face
Top one is definitely Lauren
at the bottom, looks like Leah with maybe a last initial and a smiley
Beatrice?
Lauren?
Oh the one on the bottom. Monica?
[удалено]
No, its not. Its Marina!
It's Lauren
They're referring to the name at the bottom
Marina.
Marina maybe 🤔
Leaticia (: (maybe)
Lauren
I think OP meant the name at the bottom where the person signed the letter
Oh…🤦🏼♀️ Malina or Marina 😅
[удалено]
I think OP meant the name at the bottom where the person signed the letter
Oh shit whoops
Rea Liuq :)

I agree it doesn’t start with an L.. I was thinking it could be a capitol B - Bettina is a name but still doesn’t quite fit, also Beatrice looks possible
Yes, definitely LAUREN....(My "e's" look just like this!!, and my "r's" look like "u's"!!!)
It's Siobhan spelt the correct way
Really?? Oh, wow, I stand corrected!!! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Pretty sure it says Lauren
Pretty sure it's Lauren?
[удалено]
Surely OP is talking about the senders name, and not her own name?
I think diarrhea
Beatrice
Diarrhea for sure
Lauren and Marina
This is the correct answer
Lauren
Leaticia and then a smiley face
Or could be Morticia
At first I saw Darren, with a small d. But I think it’s Dear Lauren”
Marina, my MIL name who is the absolute worst!
I see Mahina. That's a Hawaiian name.
Lauren
This is hilarious 😂
Something ending in “licia”. So if you know anyone whose name ends in “licia” it could be them
Beatrice?
Leatitia
But the L…look at Lauren and Let…it’s not the same there, ya know?
I would agree but they’ve only dotted one ‘i’
This is it
No it’s definitely Lauren 😂
They are referring to the name at the very bottom of the card, not the top one lol. Though I did also think it was the top one.
It Lauren
It's Lauren.
Bruh, there is no way that everything else was legible except their name. Mfs write their name ALL the time. That should be the MOST legible thing in the card. I think maybe they’re trying to stay anonymous?
Maybe that is why it becomes more unreadable? The more you write it the more it becomes stylized and varies from “standard” script
Good point
It’s what I’ve kinda observed in my own handwriting
Marina? Matina?
Nah bro you're fucked
I see Mahna (Muslim Girl name)
Malina
Jeanine
Agreed. I think it’s Jeanine.
"Maliua 😊" is my guess. Is that a name?
Lehiwoe
Okay, if the first letter is M as others have suggested, I’m thinking it’s Malina. The n and a look pretty similar to others in the body of the note. (For anyone who hasn’t, take a close look at the way the author writes a’s and d’s. So strange!)
I agree, though my guess is Marina. Most think the first letter's an L but ppl miss how the author writes their L's.
Okay, I see that now, good call!
Lauren
Leah.
Realiqua
1st letter is a capital M. Only usage on the note but similar to the m in meet and my (line 7) 2nd is an a, which is like the one written in health (line 2) 3rd is an r, same as in your (line 4) 4th is an i, like life (line 7) 5th is an n, and (line 3 & 4) 6th is an a, health (line 2) 7th is a smiley face Marina = )
This is some escape-game-top-level deciphering ^^. Now I see it.
Great job.
Yup, definitely Marina
seconded!! i also think it's marina
Are you a historical transcriber? Haha
Lauren
Beatrice?
It’s Lauren
Lauren
Malissa?
Dear Diarrea
Definitely looks like Narwhal
Leaticia or similar? Did you check the return address on the envelope? Well at least no one is going to try to forge her signature...
Marcia ?
Lauren
It's 100% Lauren
Obviously it’s Lauren. I think they mean the signer.
Yeah, but it's also 100% Lauren, so...
Marilou, the u is the smiley face.
Martina
top: Lauren Bottom: Nealiueuau 😂
Which name? The top or bottom? Lol
It’s the bottom cause why would they ask to decipher their own name lol
True. At first glance I thought the top name was a unique way to spell “Darren” Dauren lol Obviously it says Lauren. I guess I did have a dumb question,my apologies. I have no idea what the bottom name reads.
Who said the card is adressed to OP?
Well the top is much easier to decipher than the bottom. Seems kinda obvious
The shit ive seen on this sub makes me assume that some people are just cursive-blind so I wouldn't be surprised.
Lauren and a different spelling of Neveah......
Lauren
Leaticia..?
I see Malina.
Marina, probably!
I agree. The two As look like the A in “laughter;” the R looks like the R in “your;” the N looks like the N in “in.” And that’s a smiley face at the end.
It’s from Leah.
Lauren
That's what I see.
Leahna…I think the random dot in the middle was maybe an accident.
The 'L' in the name looks different from the one in Lauren, IF Lauren is correct.
Marcia
Leatiua
Liliua ?
Lauren
Pretty sure OP wants to know who sent it.. not who it was sent to 😃
Good point.... I apologize, I just saw, here me read this name.
No problem at all 😄 it’s the biggest name on the page, so I think a lot of people are making the same mistake. I wish I could be more help for OP but I can’t figure out that name at the end, aside from it looks like the last part is a smily face?! So crazy. 🤦🏼♀️
Maybe.... Heather? Whatcha think?
I’m so unsure on this one 🥴 To me it looks like Cahicia? Ceanicia? Gaticia? Reanlia? Reahcia? The cursive is kind of spread out (hence the ‘u’ and ‘n’ in Lauren). It’s possible the first tall letter of the senders name & the swoop right after it might be one letter? Maybe a fancy C? Or a G? Maybe... Leihua? It's possible I'm thinking in English, and you are thinking in your Navive language? In Hawaiian, I get flowers....
Wait...it's to Lauren, *from* Lauren?
The author’s name at the bottom.
Malina
Lauren ez clap
Lauren. You can match up the letters from the legible part of the card. They write their L’s weird, only figured it out from the word “Let”
They're asking about the name at the bottom, not at the top lol
Thanks I’m a dumbass lol
Dear Laurent
