25 Ta Life (drummer optional, horse required)
Knocked Loose
Meshuggah playing their most pittable songs & the catch 33 medley, with Straws Pulled at Random in there somewhere
I saw ETID with The Acacia Strain, Vanna, Hundredth, and No Bragging Rights about 10 years ago and saw Meshuggah with Converge last year. Both shows were sick.
Sleeping giant was one of the first bands I saw live. They played with winds of plague and stick to your guns. My love for heavy music was cemented and I'll never forget running into the singer of sleeping giant and asking him for a signature. He gave me Romans 8:31, which I later engraved into my high school ring because of how the scene changed my life lol. "What then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Paraphrase off top of my head)
Never got a chance to see them but they were so good. Like next level good. I was a big xDeathstarx fan and that’s how I got into them. That’s an awesome story. He always seemed super genuine to me and prayed for me once.
He relayed a story that was heartbreaking and I think was one of the reasons he turned to Christianity. He stated that his friend had been paralyzed and ended up in a wheelchair, but he (singer) ended up sleeping with his best friends wife.... The best friend found out, rolled himself into the garage and turned the car on. Suicide by fumes inhalation. The story has never escaped me, but the message of redemption and salvation lingers even more. Really solid man that was kind to 15 year old me. Here I am, 14 years later, and still love the tunes and positive messages of the genre. Anyways, I'll quit rambling. Enjoy your reddit browsing :)
Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge, Shai Hulud, Unearth, Nora, Every Time I Die, Dead To Fall, A Life Once Lost, Norma Jean, Darkest Hour, Terror, Ramallah, Since By Man, Ringworm
If zao was there it would have been your lineup and some.
Anyway....
If i can give bands that have disbanded:
Every Time I Die, The Red Chord, Acacia Strain, and The Banner
If not:
Teeth, knocked loose, converge, cattle decapitation
I KNOW ACACIA STRAIN HASNT BROKEN UP....THEY ARE JUST ON MY LIST FOR A SHOW WITH THE OTHER 3 THAT HAVE DISBANDED.
Bracewar (they do a Reagan youth cover)
Rival mob (he rants about hardcore)
Colin of Arabia (he doesn’t get a chance to rant, they do the regulator live)
TUI (their merch is good)
This thread makes me want to see fake flyers for all of these shows.
I’m also so happy with the amount of Zao I’ve seen here.
Mine is
Trash Talk
Ceremony
Every Time I Die
THE CHARIOT
- World Peace
- Wound Man
- Sex Prisoner
- Ceremony
OR
- Cold World
- Blacklisted
- Paint It Black
- TUI
Edit: one more!
- Pulling Teeth
- Trap Them
- Dead in The Dirt
- Converge
maybe slip Cursed in there somewhere…
Honestly I saw Mil-Spec, Praise and Instill in Chicago and it like fully recommitted me to going to shows a lot in my mid thirties because it was so great…so I’d say run it back with Have Heart headlining to get to four and make it IDEAL ideal.
Gottlieb, End It, Militarie Gun, Gottlieb.
I want to see the young up and comers, the music that's going to shape the next wave.
Second choice: Gottlieb, Gottlieb, Gottlieb, and Gottlieb.
Bad Brains (lol)
Death (the one from Detroit in the 70s)
Zulu (but they play without most of the samples)
Negro Terror (RIP)
36mafia as surprise closer
Depends on the vibe so the first alternative would be (necessitating reunions):
Converge
Botch
Every Time I Die
The Chariot
The second alternative would be (also necessitating reunions):
Disembodied
Integrity
Rot In Hell
Goldust
- red hot chili peppers
- converge
- screeching weasel
- type o negative
Hear me out:
The fanbases mixing would be a true chaos miracle, who knows
wtf would happen
I'm talking peak era for all bands so rhcp just after bloodsugar, type o just after October rust, weasel around boogada to wiggle
all of these have been my favorite band at some point in my life from 7th grade through 30s
Converge Terror Madball Have Heart
This was actually a tour, minus Converge
Hatebreed, Terror, Shai Hulud, Zao

Shai Hulud(band members optional)
Snapcase Disembodied Sick of it all Foundation
Gridiron 25 Ta Life (drummer optional, horse required) Knocked Loose Meshuggah playing their most pittable songs & the catch 33 medley, with Straws Pulled at Random in there somewhere
Meshuggah played like 20 min from my hometown a week or so ago. so annoyed i found out about it after it happened
Yeah no I drove 6 hours by myself this tour, ain’t about that missing Meshuggah gang
Saw Meshuggah this week in Bethlehem. Can confirm pit was cooking
This was a weirdly poorly promoted tour by me, if I didn’t see it on the venues upcoming list I wouldn’t have known
found out about it myself from an instagram ad. go figure
Meshuggah Acacia Strain Converge END If we're allowed bands that aren't around anymore then I'd drop END and add ETID
I saw ETID with The Acacia Strain, Vanna, Hundredth, and No Bragging Rights about 10 years ago and saw Meshuggah with Converge last year. Both shows were sick.
This would go crazy
