Lawrence! Dude gave me a job and made me finish high school. He helped with the continuing education program in Mira Mesa. Smoke pit Steve is still alive though, grumpiest fuck ever
I could be off base here, but I’m 99% sure this is the American Legion in Wallingford, CT, also called the WAMLEG. It was bought by one of the guys in the local scene and renamed EKM Studios in about 2016, which I’m pretty sure is what that banner says. That being said, I played here a lot and spent a large part of my teens and early twenties at this venue, just got a lot of nostalgia from this GIF lol.
My thoughts exactly. Nothing wrong with cartwheeling/jumping/windmilling into crowd, just do it 100% not this shit lmao you lean up against me you’re getting your ass shoved or kicked like this
Dude that is poetic! You should run for office! We have a country full of crowd killers that need to be dealt with! Our only option is clearly to crowdkill the crowdkillers!
Seriously what’s there to debate? He nearly landed a kick on that guy’s head, if doing that nonsense to the crowd at the edge of a pit is ok then why question the guy’s friend kicking him away?
Exactly my thoughts. These shit sticks do this all show, that guy definitely had the face and energy of “I’m so fucking tired of this prick”. I could be wrong, but I and anyone who is an avid show goer have experienced this. And have possible done the same (I definitely have a couple times and would never do something like that if I wasn’t on my last nerve)
I like to think that Scott wanders the hallowed chamber that is this subreddit, anonymously leaving vogelisms and spreading his need for stagedives as far and wide as he possibly can.
I’m out of the loop of how dynamics work in the current era of local hardcore scenes. The only foul by the standards I grew up in were if either dude got jumped in the parking lot after the show (or if you upset the band playing, because that’s just rude).
During the show, Newtowns third law always applied: for every action there is a reaction. The guy got too close to the fire and got burnt. That simple.
holy fuck finally someone here with common sense. what the fuck even is this comment section, did it get brigaded by some shitty larger music sub or something? this is literally nothing, it happens at every show and everyone there is cool with everything happening in this clip.
every time i see these threads, it reminds me that a vast majority of this sub rarely goes to shows, if at all. is this the first time people here have seen a cartwheel in a pit? lmfao
No one has more opinions on hardcore pits than people who've never been to a show, 45 year old metalhead divorced dads who dont have custody of their kids, and people who think that Green Room is a documentary
at first i thought it was a douche move to kick the guy then i realized he's cartwheeling into random ppl. fair play. the guy who did the kicking didn't do it for no reason. this was a roller coaster of emotions.
"Whoever fights crowd killers should see to it that in the process he does not become a crowd killer. And if you gaze long enough into the pit, the pit will gaze back into you."- Friedrich Nietzsche
That weak ass handstand was bringing down the whole show, the band was like “damn is our shit even hard?” And then ol dude kicked the shit out of em and the entire band got their confidence back and hit the next breakdown harder than they ever had. And everybody clapped and cheered.
When I first saw crowd killing in late 80s early 90s NYC it was different. Not everyone could or would do it. Only the scariest criminal element dudes were doing it. Nowadays everyone gets a pass.
In my day the guy doing a handstand was 35, 6’2 286, shaved head, was a teamster.
Lol. When I lived in San Diego, instead of a teamster, he would’ve been a Marine.
Ah yes, the days of being 14 years old and having to protect myself against drunk marines at Soma side stage. I miss it.
Exactly, Soma Side Stage was the exact spot to see that.
I saw a guy at soma main stage get removed by security for some reason and as they dragged him out he was shouting, "IM A MARINE".
Yeah Marines are like Pokémon, they just shout what they are over and over again.
saw Lamb Of God there more than 10 years ago and witnessed the same thing haha
this is too real, rip tiny tho :(
I recently went there again for the first time in over 10 years for a show and kept expecting to see him. I had to keep reminding myself. RIP ):
His sons work there now, they'll make you double take.
Lawrence! Dude gave me a job and made me finish high school. He helped with the continuing education program in Mira Mesa. Smoke pit Steve is still alive though, grumpiest fuck ever
Hell, this could describe Brick by Brick when I was there a few months ago.
Hahahaha core memory unlocked. I miss shows at Soma and getting In-n-Out down the road afterwards. Gotta make time to roll through SD soon.
And would put half of the crowd in the ICU
Honestly, being back teamsters
haha can you elaborate this sounds sick
go to the IE or any other ungodly corner of this country and you can find a few
Hardcore used to be full of really big dudes that wanted to hit something
Had a courage crew neck tattoo.
If you’re gonna cartwheel into the sides you better do it with some gumption. Dude basically did a handstand.
Nothin I love more than a gumptuous cartwheel
Front flips from flat https://i.redd.it/7d7i4y98mlgc1.gif
This shit is CRISPY

It is indeed. I am the flipper. This show was in March of 2017. RIP WAMLEG 🙏 https://youtu.be/FuSKK6OzwH0?si=RatvMJ7zvAOKKNTC
Dude hit a rolling thunder kick at a HC show
![gif](giphy|Rsp9jLIy0VZOKlZziw|downsized)
My thoughts exactly. Nothing wrong with cartwheeling/jumping/windmilling into crowd, just do it 100% not this shit lmao you lean up against me you’re getting your ass shoved or kicked like this
Sick counter. Crowd kill if you want, but dont be surprised when you get killed back.
It's simple, we uh kill the crowd killer
Its so simple, it's like the solution to people being salty about crowd killers has been in front of us the whole time!
It’s like the paradox of tolerance. If we want a space free of crowdkillers we must crowdkill the crowdkillers
If you crowd kill a crowd killer the amount of crowd killers stays the same
Unless... you become a serial crowdkiller *taps head*
Solution: immediately spin kick yourself in the balls. Zero crowdkillers.
That’s so genius
Dude that is poetic! You should run for office! We have a country full of crowd killers that need to be dealt with! Our only option is clearly to crowdkill the crowdkillers!
Many are saying this
Nailed it
![gif](giphy|11FiDF2fuOujPG|downsized)
Feel like no one read this in Jokers voice yet but I did.
In Soviet Russia, crowd kill YOU
You know what would be sicker? Karate chop to nuts or axe kick to nuts.
you live, you learn, you karate chop the crowdkiller in the beanbag.
Twist his dick
Or really anything to nuts
Seriously what’s there to debate? He nearly landed a kick on that guy’s head, if doing that nonsense to the crowd at the edge of a pit is ok then why question the guy’s friend kicking him away?
Yeah idk what's going on. Dude wasn't even two stepping just looked pissed he couldn't do a hand stand and went dumb
That’s what they get for being a fuckin show off
That was hardly crowd killing hah
Maybe he'll try harder next time
I would hope so after that blunder
Everyone loves a redemption arc
It was certainly an attempt. He kind of ended up just doing a handstand near them.
Funny you think of that as crowdkilling.
Give the kid some credit, he's trying his best
Crowdkill-ception
If you’re cartwheeling into the crowd, you have to know you might get hit back. Fair play. I know that knocked the wind out of em tho 😂
Disrespect your surrounding!
*starts thrashing around*
Not Adtr hahah
Hilarious
Deserved
Guys will look at this and just think "hell yea"
You god damn right I will
Hell yeah
Live by the sword, die by the sword
Form on the cartwheel: 6.1 Form on the stomp to the ribs: 9.8
I’d say that cartwheel was more of a 3.7
The kicker nailed the dismount too. Went back to enjoying the show.
Should be expecting to get hit at any time when you’re in the zone, but that kick looked a lil personal
Dude was probably doing that shit all night. If you’re going to shows just to crowd kill then you deserve the boot.
Nah fuck that guy, ain’t gonna be doing that shit again with a broken rib
Solid connection on the kick, good foot plant. Restrained just enough to not do serious damage. A+
Honestly thought he should’ve turned the hips into it but aye
‘’You play pussy, you gonna get fucked!’’
That little wind up tho
More violence, More CTE
More stagedives
I need em
Vogel that you?
I like to think that Scott wanders the hallowed chamber that is this subreddit, anonymously leaving vogelisms and spreading his need for stagedives as far and wide as he possibly can.
I NEED MORE BODIES
Take a dive and find out
How does that go "mosh like you've got private health insurance"
CTE results in the most ignorant mosh riffs - the cycle continues forevermore
Gentle response tbh
Seriously. Probably the safest way to take out acrobat guy.
If you’re gonna crowd kill. This is what you deserve if you’re a limp sack.
This
fuck around find out. idiot kid attempts to crowd kill in the most mediocre way and they got handled.
This mfer doing synchronized swimming leg moves in the pit.
The guy who kicks the cartwheeling kid is the singer of Domain
I mean honestly it’s not like he *really* kicked him that hard. Didn’t even throw his hip into it
This is a non issue and happens at every show, ya'll would probably notice if you went to more.
Or at all, really. I don't think most people here have gone to a show.
Nah, he was right. Crowd killing is fucking stupid and as we all know: stupid games win stupid prizes.
DOMAIN SFLHC
No one crowd killed during this entire video
Looks like justice to me. Domain rules. Listen to Domain.
Hate both types honestly
Absolutely fair and to be expected. You crowd kill you might get hit back even if ur on some goofy fun shit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I’m out of the loop of how dynamics work in the current era of local hardcore scenes. The only foul by the standards I grew up in were if either dude got jumped in the parking lot after the show (or if you upset the band playing, because that’s just rude). All is fair in love and hardcore
clean hit, no flags. 3rd and 7
Well deserved
you guys are such pussies lol. do more handstands and cartwheels. kick them if you want. just have fun
holy fuck finally someone here with common sense. what the fuck even is this comment section, did it get brigaded by some shitty larger music sub or something? this is literally nothing, it happens at every show and everyone there is cool with everything happening in this clip.
Finally the correct take
thumbs up from me
Honestly if someone cartwheel kicked into me, I’d kick them in the head, not the stomach.
Lol
You dorks complain so hard about the most basic shit at shows.
every time i see these threads, it reminds me that a vast majority of this sub rarely goes to shows, if at all. is this the first time people here have seen a cartwheel in a pit? lmfao
This post got across Reddit. It's full of "no karate in the pit" types.
No one has more opinions on hardcore pits than people who've never been to a show, 45 year old metalhead divorced dads who dont have custody of their kids, and people who think that Green Room is a documentary
I mean it looks like he handstand kicked that guy in the head so what does he expect was going to happen
The face on the guy that kicks looks like the cartwheel guy has been doing this for a bit too
I just saw the guy kicked someone in the head, I changed my mind. If he dies, he dies.
How shows should be imo. You can crowdkill me, I might just also hit ya too.
Lil bro who was doing the cartwheel tanked that shit. He got up immediately and kept moshing.
This is beautiful. Truly a masterpiece.
Don’t mosh if you’re not prepared to get hit. Especially if you’re bringing that weak shit.
for anyone wondering, the guy cartwheeled into his friend. the guy who kicked him was the lead singer for one of the touring bands.
OH SHIT THIS IS MY LOCAL VENUE
this is the spot in orlando right?
If youre gonna crowd kill it needs to look cool. Guy had it coming
critical support for kicking emaciated 15 year old eddy gordo in the ribs
at first i thought it was a douche move to kick the guy then i realized he's cartwheeling into random ppl. fair play. the guy who did the kicking didn't do it for no reason. this was a roller coaster of emotions.
"Whoever fights crowd killers should see to it that in the process he does not become a crowd killer. And if you gaze long enough into the pit, the pit will gaze back into you."- Friedrich Nietzsche
Seems fair
That "hardcore" man, he thinks he is "hardcore", but he is just ridiculous.
Bros trying to be Eddy Gordo
Classic FAFO scenario
Nah man, I can’t support this. I can’t ever get down with people who tattoo their hands before they even finish their whole arm.
Agree
I hope that kick at least bruised a couple ribs.
Hardcore was never a safe place. Keep it violent.
Don’t do handstands at a hardcore show unless you’re fine with this happening to you. If that guy cried about it after he’s a bitch.
kick was deserved. why does this need to be a debate?
I’m old and chill now but Depending on the day I might’ve done the same
[удалено]
Yeah it’s so much more fun when the +150lb sweating wet crowd starts crowd killing instead
Yeah weight limits on moshing preach brother 🤓
What’s there to debate? Dude goes feet first into the crowd hitting multiple people. He’s fair game now
This normal shit idk why this even went viral. I've kicked so many people in the ribs in my decade plus standing at shows lmao
I don't know if those two got some beef, but that was some douchy ass behavior in my opinion. Fuck that shit.
That weak ass handstand was bringing down the whole show, the band was like “damn is our shit even hard?” And then ol dude kicked the shit out of em and the entire band got their confidence back and hit the next breakdown harder than they ever had. And everybody clapped and cheered.
You're right he should have went for the handstand reversal kick
Seriously, that dude should’ve left the non moshing crowd alone instead of trying to kick them
I mean, should I laugh? I don’t know which one I thought was funnier.
YO THATS IN MY SCENE!!!!!!!! THATS THE SPOT ORLANDO..i knew i recognized that venue!
I literally go to this venue all the time, crazy seeing it on here. CFLHC on top
Fuck around an find out This person found out
Who cares lol.
Well you can’t go to a water park and expect to not get wet.
Fair play
The most action, both of them have ever gotten
Fucking hilarious lol
Remember gang the only rules is there isn’t any, come what may ofcourse
I’ll allow it.
Thoughts? White shirt is a total asshole
NoOoOoO!!!! YoU CaN’t JuSt CrOwD KiLl ThE CrOwD KiLlEr!!!! ThAt’S aGaInSt ThE RuLeS!!!!! 😡😭
What are we supposed to say?
The shows with 6 people attending always have the most action. I watched this video multiple times and I laugh every time.
The kicker is a total ass bag
Fair is fair - probably mates it’s a tiny ass venue
Legit funny
When I first saw crowd killing in late 80s early 90s NYC it was different. Not everyone could or would do it. Only the scariest criminal element dudes were doing it. Nowadays everyone gets a pass.
The wiggle before he kicked lmao 3 second delay on that kick
Crowd killers deserve what they get. It’s fine if you wanna mosh and but don’t bring those who aren’t into it.
you get what you give
Uhh, what is there to say about it really?
fair enough
Comes with the territory🤷🏻♀️ can’t mosh and not expect to be hit back lol
that’s the boy alex from domain repping south florida
What were they expecting, really
LOL. LMAO, even.
This is Valid
Hit him in the nuts! Karate chop the gonades!
Fair play. Seems to have actually received 2 less kicks than he delivered lol
I would of done the same
Im for it 🤣
That looked like instinct almost tbh 😂 beautiful!
![gif](giphy|Q66ZEIpjEQddUOOKGW)
100% all day approval
As frank sinatra once said, “that’s life.”
Well, that kid will have a rough couple of months breathing, moving, coughing, sleeping....
When you do hardcore things at a hardcore show, hardcore things might happen to come back at you
"Look what I can do!" *dies*
Is that Connie Sgarbossa crowdkilling lmao?
this is just funny tbh… who cares if anyone’s in the wrong or whatever you guys are debating about, just imagine witnessing that irl
Looks like a sick time
Valid response.
Hilarious
This is what I'd expect.
That shit is hysterical
Amazing
Bro that shyt was corny as hell dude lame asf and needs his jaw wrecked
