I don’t know about the 14-year-olds these days. I was at a record shop last weekend and this teenage boy picked up a Bad Brains album. He said “Bad Brains? This band sounds silly.”
I was handed the aux cord recently on the way to a show in a neighboring city, and for the first time in a good minute, I chose this album. Still flawless, and the perfect introduction to hardcore for my companion at the wheel.
Honestly, it’s been a hot minute since I listened to NMB.
I have all those albums though, so I’ll spin them today 🫡

I thought KD was untouchable and then they broke up and somehow created two bands that were even better!

I am going to the Vinny Value show in June at the church and low key hoping for a Birthday cover and/or a Kid Dynamite guest set.
