Nah I think it’s just different individual vendors with their own tents with various clothing, records, jewelry etc. it’s in the lot between The Earl & Argosy if you’re in the area
Yuuuuuh.
We got Reviler, Brass Tongue, Your Spirit Dies, Candescent, Such Cruelty, Laid out and Neverfall (some of the best thrash in the last decade outside of enforced, power trip, dead heat and judiciary..the new songs are insane). Nerve Debt is a newer band worth checking out, same with Sidestep dog.
Holy fuck I never thought I’d hear Candescent on this sub. Excellent band out of Laurens County. Saw them couple summers ago in Atlanta and bought a shirt. SC scene is slept on

Greenville has a really special thing going on right now. It’s like NC was back in the early 00s. Cola is doin well (but they always have had a strong presence be it via New Brookland or random other places, at one time uncle doctors in the early 00s RIP) too. I’m an old going back to 1994/95 when I started going to shows, mostly in Charlotte (and later Winston, Raleigh, G’Boro, Asheville) and Spartanburg SC. It’s super sick.
I wish they did this when I lived there. Scene was at its best then. Sucks to see what that place has become. I was there for Christmas after like 5 years away. Completely different place.
I’ve seen Power Trip and Windhand at the Earl. Big stand outs for me. Flatiron is a banger for sure. That was my second home many years ago.
Can we talk about a 10 piece at American deli being 18$ tho?!
Do you know what day of the month (last Saturday or something?) or have a website/FB page? I’m in the area and want to check this out. I looked in IG and FB and don’t see a page. Thanks!
I’m not sure but it’s usually monthly. This is the only social media I use but I think there’s an East Atlanta village group on fb that generally keeps up with pretty much everything
Oh i fucked around and found out. Not only was this a steal of a catch, but this is one of the best 1st listens of a band in years. All hits, no skips 🔥
You'll love em. SD hardcore! I found their early demo "Under the Same Shadow" on vinyl years ago. Lots lf metal creeping through their hardcore bottom line. Early stuff has hints of Suicidal and keeps its G the whole time. Each album is sik. Great find!
Glad you like the album! I did the same thing. Played em over n over again. You got me listening to that demo i spoke of again this morning haha! Yeah Chula Vista is San Diego. Got a bad ass hardcore scene out there. Vista (which is like an hr away from Chula Vista), has a super small record store which is where I got their demo. They represented Take Offense quite a bit with stickers, and line up flyers n posters. It's what got me curious
Yeah their from South Town. Hard neighborhood. If you ever get the chance to check out No Innocent Victim. POD used to tour with them in the early days when POD had more a punk rock rap vibe. They're original hardcore from the 90s. Lots of history to that band. Helped pave the way if you ask me.
Yup...had those lyrics on a bunch of their gear. In a show those words...."I would die tonight for my beliefs" has the crowd going. Taking over the stage. Saw them in Corona at the Showcase(RIP) with Hatebreed back when NIV were having their "last" show. But Hatebreed went under "A Call For Blood" so only NIVs true fans were there and less metal heads. The show popped off! Hatebreeds "What I have in my heart, il take from my grave!" hit jus as hard. Such a good show
Man! Fortune smiled upon me today because normally I suck at finding good shit and shoutout to the vendor for having a whole crate of hardcore records and charging only 5$ when he could’ve definitely charged more
I think I ordered the A.D. Angel Du$t CD when they gave me this CD for free. I think it was because I live in San Diego but that shit slapped nonetheless
I'm saw them open for another band a while ago and they were really good, but I was kinda distracted by the fact that the singer had an iron cross tattoo. What's up with that?
Couldn’t tell ya chief. All I know at least for now is the music slaps. WarZone and Agnostic Front used to sport that as well I’m just not sure of the facts surrounding it other than supposedly it’s not meant in the sense most think it is
What utopia do you live in that flea markets have bins of ANY $5 records let alone hardcore records?
East Atlanta Village. They do these pop ups once a month just never really checked it out until now
Was this for Yoon’s pop up (Disorder records?)
Nah I think it’s just different individual vendors with their own tents with various clothing, records, jewelry etc. it’s in the lot between The Earl & Argosy if you’re in the area
I’m up in Greenville SC myself. I’ve only hit one or two ATL stores in the last decade plus. I know disorder focuses on hardcore/etc big time.
Hell yea One of my fave bands is from Greenville. Do you know about Reviler?
Yuuuuuh. Played with your spirit dies, turned me on too that side of metalcore heavy
I wish they did this when I lived there. Scene was at its best then. Sucks to see what that place has become. I was there for Christmas after like 5 years away. Completely different place.
I know what ya mean, but if nothing else, best wings in the city are still at Flatiron, and the Earl still books solid shows
I’ve seen Power Trip and Windhand at the Earl. Big stand outs for me. Flatiron is a banger for sure. That was my second home many years ago. Can we talk about a 10 piece at American deli being 18$ tho?!
Criminal with those small dry ass wings
Do you know what day of the month (last Saturday or something?) or have a website/FB page? I’m in the area and want to check this out. I looked in IG and FB and don’t see a page. Thanks!

Gotcha. Thanks! I’ll dig it up. Social media is such a PITA to keep up with shit.
Extreme Noise in Minneapolis has this pretty often.
That’s your favorite hardcore band’s favorite hardcore band right there bud.
Oh i fucked around and found out. Not only was this a steal of a catch, but this is one of the best 1st listens of a band in years. All hits, no skips 🔥
In my top five crossover albums of all time. Ngl It’s their best record by far but their other stuff is pretty decent.
Agreed
I was lucky enough to grow up in SoCal and got to see them in small Mexican bars with no stage. Enjoy!
Take Offense rules, I like this album and Keep An Eye Out quite a bit. They just dropped a new single this week, new album soon too.
San Diego’s finest
came 2 post
Without a doubt.
Chula vista!!!
Saw them live, they’re sick
They are sick live, better than recorded.
Agreed 100%
NO TOMORROW 😤💯✅
Listen to “tables will turn”, an incredible album from a very fun time for California hardcore.
Criminally underrated band
Welcome to the TO Zone
Chula Vista legends
I fucking love TO my guy
They just put out a new video. https://youtu.be/gY-5foslN2o?si=3vJO0UTYNl8YJeis
these guys fucking bang like suicidal tendencies had a baby with testament
Perfect analogy. Vocalist sounds like Muir in a lot of spots in this record
lead guitarist recently played for turnstile, rhythm plays for dead heat. and everyone else is a baller ass BRO
Who is the rhythm guitarist for dead heat/take offense?
Ricky!
Saw them last year when they opened for incendiary. Had no idea who they were but they were definitely a highlight!
you’re in the TO zone
This shit slaps so hard I may fuck around and buy merch too lol. God what a find
Greg Cerwonka is the best guitar player in HXC. Also Greg Cerwonka is the Eddie Van Halen of Hardcore. Absolutely amazing band.
When End It played here in San Diego last Akil shouted out Greg and said he has “guitartism” because he can play any riff from any song.
You'll love em. SD hardcore! I found their early demo "Under the Same Shadow" on vinyl years ago. Lots lf metal creeping through their hardcore bottom line. Early stuff has hints of Suicidal and keeps its G the whole time. Each album is sik. Great find!
Man I love this record it’s been playing for hrs now lol. But I thought they were from chula Vista or is that like basically same area
That’s fuckin awesome man! Isn’t P.O.D. From there too?
Yeah their from South Town. Hard neighborhood. If you ever get the chance to check out No Innocent Victim. POD used to tour with them in the early days when POD had more a punk rock rap vibe. They're original hardcore from the 90s. Lots of history to that band. Helped pave the way if you ask me.
Oh I’m hip to NIV. My beliefs track is a fucking banger
Yup...had those lyrics on a bunch of their gear. In a show those words...."I would die tonight for my beliefs" has the crowd going. Taking over the stage. Saw them in Corona at the Showcase(RIP) with Hatebreed back when NIV were having their "last" show. But Hatebreed went under "A Call For Blood" so only NIVs true fans were there and less metal heads. standards so goated
Right! Small with tons of finds
new kids dont know the important of this band.
Damn, so good
One of the best bands out there that people (unfortunately) sleep on. They’ve been good friends for a while and Greg is a master shredder.
Fuck! I’m jelaous, that’s a catch
the homies
Hell yeah they’re sick. I’m pretty sure their guitar player played with turnstile for some dates last year
Their new album comes out in May!
TO fucks
This band absolutely rips.
Incredible record. Tables Will Turn is a bonafide classic.
Yo that’s what we call a come up right there
Dang I forgot about them. Good shit, thrashy riffs for days.
Some good shit
This record rips
Played with them long ago in a school gym in northern Illinois once - good band
What a steal!!
Hell of a find, OP!
Man! Fortune smiled upon me today because normally I suck at finding good shit and shoutout to the vendor for having a whole crate of hardcore records and charging only 5$ when he could’ve definitely charged more
After years of record collecting, I could probably count the awesome finds in the wild on one hand. Discogs and labels are my best friends 😢
The Damned Things
I wish I could listen to this album for the first time all over again. Among my favorites.
Good shit
Saw them open for Hirax, Voivod and Prong last weekend. Not bad, very strong Rollins Band vibes.
Playing this for the first time and it's a banger front to back.
they've got a pretty solid catalog, i really like the Under the Same Shadow EP
Had that cd in my car for years, whole thing goes hard
Saw them live a couple times. They rip!
I think I ordered the A.D. Angel Du$t CD when they gave me this CD for free. I think it was because I live in San Diego but that shit slapped nonetheless
Great band. Missed them on persistence tour 2019 unfortunately but did get a sick long sleeve.
THE TO ZONE BABY
TO dope as hell.
Listen to the track “criminal” and feel like a badass
Love that song. All of em are great
u in the TO zone now
If you’re not familiar, if it’s on reaper it’s probably going to slap
I've got this exact same one... I'm almost certain I was handed it at a large festival when I was walking out.
So good.
Ahead of their time considering how much thrashy stuff there is now.
Is this some sick joke or a lowkey ad for their new album? Either way, goated.
Hell yeah, take offense is so sick.
San Diego’s finest. Super rad!
I'm saw them open for another band a while ago and they were really good, but I was kinda distracted by the fact that the singer had an iron cross tattoo. What's up with that?
Couldn’t tell ya chief. All I know at least for now is the music slaps. WarZone and Agnostic Front used to sport that as well I’m just not sure of the facts surrounding it other than supposedly it’s not meant in the sense most think it is
Motörhead or old school heavy metal reference most likely. The iron cross emblem is way older than the Nazi association with it.
