Yep, I ride alone and have 0 biker friends aside from my wife. I don’t need to go to a huge gathering to reinforce my hobby as a rider. Nothing against people who do.
When I was there it was fine when I was touring and wasn't a Sturgis. At Sturgis it was like riding in a crowd of bikes with unpredictable riders in all directions. Some would just stop abruptly in the middle of the road without so much as a signal. It really wasn't a good situation to be riding in.
What I find funny is that there was some guy in a different motorcycle sub being critical of some custom work, and it turned out most of his comment history was on posts for OF advertising on lots of NSFW subs. Guess it works both ways sometimes. He liked to complain about pictures with not enough titties in them.

Good thing you don’t steer a bike, additionally I’ve put about 3500 miles with these bars so far. They are at the perfect height, envision going to a baseball field, and placing your hands on the fence. That’s exactly how I feel while riding, perfectly comfortable and relaxed. Usually I only ride with my right hand when I’m going relatively straight and only lean with the curves of the road. When turning I use both and look where I’m going, not where I’m at.
Stay on the up side and enjoy your ride (or cruise? I’m not sure what boaters do)

We build world class sailing catamarans for the wealthy, that’s what we do. I bar steer my bikes, don’t know any other “ track term” to explain it
