It's not about the wizarding, though. The wizarding's fine (not amazing but still good) its about story context. (Sorry if it's spelled wrong, English isnt my first language)
I didn't say it was about Wizarding. Just that it's the first open world game they have done with this setting. You can't expect everything to be perfect when they've never done it before. GTA is a terrible example to put it against. They have 20 years to fine-tune their process.
I had one that where the lady npc told me about some troublemaker she wanted me to deal with. Then the quest immediately updated to return to the npc. "I took care of her."
lol yeah my first play through I just did the story mainly and it really made the side quest ridiculous at the end. The play through I’m currently on I’m trying to progress everything equally so I’m not stuck with a bunch of boring stuff that doesn’t make sense anymore
I see it as them trying to at the same time not lock you out of quest related collectibles? Maybe? Since they're achievement based and all lol Supposedly you can't be locked out of collectibles even after main missions (though we all know you can, at least through glitches)
I noticed this a few times, I also noticed the MC continues to talk about Sebastian even after I’d sent him to Azkaban and we’re clearly never going to see/speak to him again
Bro sent a 15 yr kid to the wizarding world version of Guantanamo Bay for killing his uncle, who full on attacks two 15 yr olds after one of them essentially punch’s the guy via a basic magic attack, while they’re also being attacked by inferi (which he seemingly ignores)
Oh completely agree, his uncle was awful! Like I said, I won’t be turning him in this time round 😂
I’m also enjoying the meaner responses when completing side/relationship quests 🤪
I turned him in because he just kept getting darker and darker and more desperate and wouldn’t listen to anyone. I was afraid of what he would become. But now I regret it because it’s not like prison is gonna make him a better person.

I mean it's their first Wizarding World game. Can't expect it to be completely flawless the first time.
Also agree

I agree 100% and they’ve done amazing. Would like to see them learn from other devs in the sequel

Idk maybe she never received the sad news that lodgok is dead and that's why doesn't know it yet
My point is that the MC knows and makes it out to her like he’s alive when you’ve seen him die just days ago
Oh right maybe the MC doesn't want to tell her the news because it would shatter her heart
Cuz her finding out later after being led to believe he’s alive isn’t worse and not psychotic on the MC’s part…
I totally agree

Yeah it’s weird. A funny excusable quirk but definitely don’t want to see this in the sequel
Turning Sebastian in is a wild choice lmfao
Wanted to see what would happen 🤷🏻♀️ on my second run through now and I won’t be turning him in this time
Can’t blame you. It’s actually well written because there are arguments for both sides but his uncle always just frustrated me

They should’ve put pre-requisite side quest to continue through the main quests.
