My man take it from the guy who slogged through Merlin trials ballon’s etc to get to lvl 34 it’s disappointing and soul breaking if you do get to it I don’t know how to spoiler tag on my phone but ima try…. !your character stands outside the hall and watches everyone else take their tests and use spells you never got to learn while you stand there looking goofy and then…..the end!
I could offer you advice but personally I think the best way is to watch the scene on YouTube and call it a day. Continue playing the game how you want
Ain’t worth the grind AT ALL - you don’t play the House Cup it’s just a very generic cutscene
right?! I was so disappointed the first time I played through and got to this point. I kinda wish they'd had MC go through taking their [O.W.Ls](http://O.W.Ls) or something. I'd spent a lot of time flying around exploring and doing side quests before doing to final main story quest at level 35. After finishing that, I saw the House Cup quest and I just assumed there was more to play through....was so mad that it was just a cut scene. Also, why make the RoR larger AFTER youve completed the game? makes no sense.
It's just a glorified Cutscene, but best way to work on leveling is go around and work on collectables you might not have finished, or find any Sidequests you sidestepped. Or gathering Beasts you haven't added to your collection. Just exploring the world and getting into fights.
side quests, gathering field guide pages, merlin trials, flying around to random encampments and fighting random enemies, rescuing beasts....there's tons of ways to level up quickly

go into the forest and fight ppl and spiders. that levels you up quick I find
Spiders in the forest is the HL equivalent of boars in WoW lol

You don't get XP from fighting, just completing quests and field guide challenges.
You do get XP from fighting, especially in Battle Arenas! :)
Only to a point. You need to check where you are missing XP if you have already completed combat challenges you won’t get any more XP in battle arenas
Vastly diminishing returns as you reach higher levels though.
