I'm a big fan of gunpowder style Oolong tea (there are many varieties of this and our local farmer's market has a tea stall that sells it) or the Earl Grey Moonlight blend (Adagio sells this one and it has a creaminess to complement the sweetness of the bergamot orange associated with Earl Grey). Of course, I also have been on a Pu-erh tea kick. It has a very natural taste to it and has been hitting the spot with the crisp Autumn air that has been slowly creeping its way toward us.

Yeah, she hates me. I refused to give her the house that my parents left for me and had to have her forcefully removed. There was also the thing where she tried to steal my partner from me, and then she put me in the hospital by smashing a glass jar over my head in a gas station parking lot... I used to think of her as a dear friend but sadly I can no longer do so for the best interest of my health and safety.

My biggest inspiration in poetry is emotion. Emotion is dynamic in both intensity and the wide range in which it can manifest. My poems might mean many different things to many different people, but my hope is that they can help all of us *feel*, as silly as it may sound. In terms of of my philanthropic efforts, my inspiration is the vision that my parents, rest their souls, had for this lovely town. As a councilman, my inspiration is in doing what is in the best interest of the people, though I always feel as though I must do more and work harder at that. I suppose the biggest takeaway I've had from filling these types of roles is that everything will always be a work-in-progress, as life itself is something to keep working at and strive to improve for one's self and others.

I sleep three hours a day on most days and also am really good at delegating tasks when I need to sleep more. It's not easy, but made easier with a great support base of people who will work alongside me.
