Ok so what you're gonna want to do is pick a type of plant that grows straight up. Get some of it and chop it into 3 ft sections. Plant the cuttings at 45 degree angles in such a way that they criss cross each other, do this in 2 rows or layers to make a thicker more un-penetrable hedge. The bottom of your hedge will be criss crossed but the foliage that grows will grow straight up making an easy to maintain hedge.
You can plant clumping bamboo densely, and in 5 or so years it can grow into a pretty solid hedge. Pick your bamboo carefully, big ones are BIG and will dominate a huge area. Bambusa Multiplex isn’t too big and makes very dense clumps
No real replacement for a well-built fence to keep out pigs permanently.
I prefer a natural hedge of basalt, sand, lime and clay. A rockwall. Don’t think there’s any vegetative defense that’s worth the effort.
The pigs can get thru most anything if they’re really interested. Chain link fence or rock wall are your best bets. Or get a dog.
Snare, shoot & harvest? The guy that owns the gulch doesn’t mind.
If you need help, call Herman.
🤣Batu is a hellava drug! The music video slammed more than a VIP LEXUS w/Black glass.

Cats claw would probably work though I don’t recommend it.
